You could make it so the prison eleki was in was originally supposed to be a generator to power the world.

But Gigas fell asleep, which led to Eleki being put in the jar.

I'm pretty sure Draco was locked up by Gigas himself. But that could also be /wrong/.

The slow start could be procrastination or inability to fetch ideas.

As in, Gigas is actually happy to build, is energetic, a happy-go-lucky gyaru type-beat. Instead of potentially just doing her job because it needs to be done, she finds it fun.
