Nothing like seeing a tweet from your past and questioning if you even know who you are anymore. I’d give 8 different answers today and this wasn’t even a year ago…
I've completed the cycle of going from loving Sam Raimi, to considering him a big ball of cringe, to finally coming back around to accept he's kind of brilliant.
TIL my favorite film composer of all time, Ennio Morricone, scored three iconic movies in the SAME YEAR (1966):
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Battle of Algiers
Navajo Joe
If that's not one of the biggest flexes in film history, I don't know what is.
I forgot all about this tweet from 3 years ago. I remember being convinced my ring finger would never be strong enough to get that three finger gallop.🐎😅
@MillennialSox That’s fair. If he played a bigger part in True Romance I’d consider that one too. And not gonna lie I half expected you to say Babylon.
When "Fight Club" premiered at the 1999 Venice Film Festival, it got booed hard by the audience. Ed Norton said that as it was happening, Brad Pitt turned to him and said: "That's the best movie I'm ever going to be in."
@MillennialSox If I have to choose one I guess it’s Moneyball because that’s HIS movie and he was great in it, but I’m not really satisfied with that answer either. It’s worth noting I haven’t seen Ad Astra or The Tree of Life.
@MillennialSox I’ve been thinking about this all day lol. It’s a really tough question to answer because there are so many ways to look at it. Ocean’s Eleven is iconic. I think Inglorious Basterds is better than OUATIH but he was better in the latter. Jesse James, Se7en, Moneyball…
