@Laceya_Finley Test yours when you get it by unplugging the UPS from the wall while the PC is plugged into the UPS and turned on. If the PC stays on then you are protected.

@Laceya_Finley The pure sine wave UPS's are more expensive but will work with all PC power supplies. The cheaper ones my not output clean enough AC power when switching to battery, which will cause your PC to shut down when the UPS switches from Mains(wall) power to battery.
