A man was asked:
“How do you maintain and preserve your five daily prayers?”
He said: “I realized that no one would accept meeting me five times a day in all my conditions, happy, sad, broken, weak, strong, except for The Most Merciful.”
I had exams and I hadn’t read enough.
By Allah, I slept, woke up for Qiyam al-Layl, read whatever I could, and went for the exam in the morning.
What came out was exactly what I read that night. What I didn’t read didn’t appear.
Wallahi, we could go on and on with stories like this.
Without dua, we wouldn’t have made it this far. 🤍🤲
Ya Allāh rescue me from my hardships like you rescued ʾIbrāhīm عليه السلام from the fire, like you rescued Mūsā عليه السلام from firaun, like you rescued Yūnus عليه السلام from the belly of the whale, and like you rescued Muḥammad ﷺ when he became an orphan in the desert.
First, we've a burning desire for
something we don't possess, a longing to achieve it. Once we get it, we use it for our own pleasure or enjoyment, and then our interest fades. We simply leave it behind.
This, unfortunately, is also the way people often treat each other nowadays.
If you see yourself deteriorate, pick yourself up by repenting and seeking Allah's forgiveness and by asking Him to keep you firm. And don't become careless, and neither say ‘In’shā’Allah , my eemaan will become stronger’ (without doing anything about it).
Instead from right now - from the moment you feel that you are ill - you must implement the cure.
