@beelbezub HAHA I think he'd opt for swallowing because it's more β¨politeβ¨ and courteous but that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't prefer the other option...
Jesus Christ a synagogue in Toronto was shot at. This is what the antisemitism I keep seeing on this app ends up causing. Yet there are still people claiming it's "not a big deal"
The US is "at war" but no American on US soil will die because of it. This is the reality of all war in which the US is involved, because that's how imperialism operates
a lady gave birth in the middle of the street because she has no where to go during the bombings. please keep lebanon in your prayers man weβre witnessing shit that is so inhumane itβs almost hard to fathom
My father was one of the immigrants forced to work in UAE with a passport held hostage with his family living a subpar life in India. You have not felt the sadness of hearing the stoic patriarch of a family be brought to tears over a phone call to his seven year old kid.
Please keep sharing this today, we are hours from having to leave our place and even if I hate it here, its better than being houseless and we would have time to search for a cheaper home. We need your help to do this. Love to all πͺΆπ
I can't even fathom what it would be like to have your life ruined at an event where a movie about your life being repeatedly ruined was celebrated, all because you didn't know a microphone had been placed very near you at a place you were promised accommodation
(unfortunately) i went to dubai as a child and my family became close friends with a hotel staff member. he showed where he lived and it was just hundreds of workers from outside dubai, living in small spaces together, only able to see their families once a year. think of them.
Things you need to know before moving to Dubai
- The UAE was known as βthe desert of Omanβ as a state, it was propped up by the UK in 1971. Making it only 54 years old.
- The reason the country developed very quickly is for a number of reasons
1. They used slavery for their infrastructure and still use slave labour from Africans and South Asians to maintain their wealth.
2. Their resources, agriculture, minerals and more were stolen from countries in Africa and some in the Middle East, such as Yemen.
3. They are complicit in several acts of destruction and destabilization in the global south. Strongly allied with imperialist states such as the UK and the USA.
- Their government is filled with raging Zionists who not only normalize with Israel, but go above and beyond to help them actively commit genocide against Palestinians. Buying houses in Palestine and then selling them to Israeli settlers, sending spyware disguised as aid to Lebanon, increased their daily flights on their airlines to Israel when other airlines were cancelling theirs and SO MUCH MORE.
- AND LAST BUT DEFINITELY NOT LEAST!! They are behind the worlds largest humanitarian and displacement crisis in recorded history. Killing 400k+ Sudanese people by funding and protecting the terrorist RSF.
By willingly choosing to move to Dubai, you are essentially saying you are okay with genocide(s), slavery and the deaths of millions of people, still happening as we speak. Your need for βluxuryβ and materialism will get you no where.
