#Sweden Backs Key #Somaliland-#Ethiopia Trade Corridor Upgrade
Sweden joined Somaliland and Ethiopian officials at the groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the Tog-Wajaale border bridge, a vital crossing on the Berbera Corridor linking Somaliland and Ethiopia.
The ceremony was attended by Somalilandโs Minister of Transport and Roads Development, officials from Ethiopiaโs Somali Regional State, and Swedenโs Ambassador to Ethiopia @SweinEthiopia , Magnus Lennartsson.
Officials said the project will strengthen regional connectivity, improve cross-border trade, and support economic integration across the Horn of Africa by enhancing one of the regionโs busiest trade routes.
