@scottygb The Christmas special was likely bait to try and secure a new co-pro to replace the Disney Dollars. Having failed, a full tender feels like a last throw of the dice.
@ThemeParkWW Horrendous! It was the first ride we went on last week. Never again! It's worse than the corkscrew as a head-banger, and that's saying something.
@ThemeParkWW@DraytonManor We love Drayton Manor. We're going to Thorpe Park on Monday for the first time now my daughter is 1.4m - hope the weather is as good! Enjoy your day!
@DeborahMeaden Food security just as important as energy security, and combining the two sounds ideal. But at what scale is it viable, considering heavy machinery won't able to sow, harvest etc.? Perhaps more community allotment/PYO level? My local council owns a solar farm - opportunity there?
@ThemeParkWW Had plans to visit next month and take my daughter for the first time - she's a big fan of Maelstrom and was excited to ride Aviktas, but will hold off now π.
@FlippingSloth@ThemeParkWW Meanwhile Towers, where it should be easier to protect bottom line due to being further away from Universal, has its reputation degraded by poorer and poorer customer experience.
@FlippingSloth@ThemeParkWW Thorpe will take a hit with domestic customers going to Universal for a year or two regardless. I'm not sure international customers, who've likely not been before, need expensive new rides to enjoy Thorpe.
@MartinSLewis Great listen as ever - thank you, Martin. But on broadband, I'd wait until April to switch due to the compound price rise in Y2 on top of this April, likely making it cheaper to suck up 1 month at Β£20 extra now. Fascinating question though!
@LBC This is wrong. TNT Sports lost the champions league rights from 2027. Paramount had already won the rights prior to the announcement they were buying WBD.
@MartinSLewis My fixed tariff was not due to end until May. Although I'm not yet in the last 49 days, I've been able to switch to a new 12m fix with my existing supplier without paying exit fees. (New fix is cheapest on the market according to @MoneySavingExp)
