@rwappin @YouTube There are a ton of videos of people debating poorly against, say, a flat earther and end up accidentally swaying people in the middle to the other side, as ridiculous as it is, because they were underprepared and believed in their content.

@rwappin @YouTube In theory I agree w/ you but in practice there are views that we hold to be intuitively correct that are actually difficult to defend against someone who is deeply entrenched in that conspiracy theory. +people are more easily swayed by seductive emotional arguments vs dry reason.
