پاکستان میں اس وقت عوامی مسائل پر مؤثر اور حقیقی آواز بلند کرنے والی جماعت اگر کوئی ہے تو وہ جماعت اسلامی ہے۔ ملک کی بڑی سیاسی جماعتیں کسی نہ کسی صورت اقتدار کا حصہ ہیں۔ ایک طرف پی ٹی آئی خیبرپختونخوا میں حکومت کر رہی ہے، جبکہ دوسری جانب مسلم لیگ (ن) اور پیپلز پارٹی وفاقی حکومت میں شریکِ اقتدار ہیں۔ پنجاب میں مسلم لیگ (ن) برسرِ اقتدار ہے، سندھ میں پیپلز پارٹی حکومت کر رہی ہے، جبکہ دیگر صوبوں میں بھی اقتدار کی سیاست انہی جماعتوں کے گرد گھومتی ہے۔
ایسے میں عوام کو درپیش مہنگائی، بے روزگاری، بدامنی، بجلی کی بڑھتی قیمتوں، پٹرولیم لیوی اور گورننس کے بحران جیسے مسائل پر حقیقی اور مستقل آواز اٹھانے کی ذمہ داری جماعت اسلامی نبھا رہی ہے۔ بظاہر سیاسی اختلافات اور ایک دوسرے پر تنقید کے باوجود بڑی جماعتوں کے درمیان اقتدار اور مفادات کی سیاست جاری ہے، جبکہ جماعت اسلامی اقتدار کی شراکت کے بجائے عوامی حقوق اور قومی مفادات کی سیاست پر یقین رکھتی ہے۔
جماعت اسلامی ملک بھر میں عوام کے مسائل کو اجاگر کر رہی ہے، ظالمانہ معاشی پالیسیوں کے خلاف آواز بلند کر رہی ہے اور ہر سطح پر عوام کے حقوق کا مقدمہ لڑ رہی ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ جماعت اسلامی پاکستان میں ایک حقیقی، فعال اور عوامی اپوزیشن کا کردار ادا کر رہی ہے۔

Law and order issues, unemployment, poor governance, and allegations of corruption have made life increasingly difficult for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The public was promised peace, development, and prosperity, but the province continues to face serious governance challenges.
