Versabar’s Houston facility recently performed a proof load test on a pair of unique rental spreader bars. The spreader bars were each over 90’ long with a capacity of 55-tons spread across 10 lifting points. Our open test bed design makes testing large items like these easier.

Although our Belle Chasse location and employees were heavily impacted by the wrath of Hurricane Ida, Versabar Belle Chasse immediately jumped to action just days following the storm to help Couvillion Group with the salvage of a ferry in the Mississippi River. Praying for all.

Versabar provided a custom rigging system for a +600,000 tower module assembly. Our customer approached us to provide rigging for 3-cranes to perform the lift. We were able to engineer a rigging solution using a single crane. This unique solution provided significant savings.

Working on our Night Moves, Versabar’s custom design/build conductor removal tower recently completed operations on 1 of 3 platforms, in water depth over 600ft. Great Job to our field techs on meeting this first milestone!

Versabar recently provided a 3-bar system our customers in the Gulf of Mexico. This rigging system had a capacity of 400-tons and spanned 37' x 58'. Using our extensive rigging rental inventory, we were able to rig to a pre-determined center of gravity, providing a level lift.

Versabar just completed Systems Integrated Testing (SIT) of our custom design+build Umbilical Pull-in System that will be used offshore GoM. Our engineers creatively designed this 100ton winch system to pull multiple umbilical locations without having to move the equipment around

Versabar’s recently loaded out over 500,000# of rigging equipment, headed to Mexico for a ~3,000-ton Topside Install. This load out spanned 3 days with a total of 14 trucks loaded out. The Triangular Lugs pictured weigh over 38,000# each and are ~8’ tall and ~ 10’ long.
