What is happening to Dr Beth Upton looks increasingly like a politically motivated witch hunt. The tribunal dismissed the claims against her, yet campaigners continue to pursue her. This has gone far beyond a workplace dispute. She has become a target.

Dr Upton left the NHS and moved to Australia, yet the campaign followed her across the world, with demands for her professional deregistration. This is no longer about changing rooms or NHS policy. It looks like an attempt to hunt an individual to a disturbing conclusion.

They will hound her to the ends of the earth because the aim is total destruction and humiliation for an innocent person who just happened to be transgender and targeted by people with media and political connections.
