We are delighted that Dr Emma Hilton will be speaking on the Sports Panel at our national conference Feminism: What’s the Point?
The theme of the sports discussion is ‘Women’s Sport: What’s Next?’
The provision of cheap, quick, affordable, sex verification tests would be a game changer. We look forward to discussing the science and the politics of Dr Hilton’s work.

@KatrinaBiggs2@3womenlive One of the issues with MPs such as this is that they are terrified of losing their seats. That makes them sit on the fence when faced with anything they decide is a 'side issue'. It also means they trot out platitudes and don't bother with research.
We will be joined at our annual conference by @MaeveHalligan for the panel discussion Has feminism made women more free? on the theme of Culture.
'Real activism does not silence lesbians, medicalize gay children, or tell a little boy who plays with dolls that he is a girl.'

What is Feminism For?
Introducing our speakers for the panel on Violence and Exploitation at our national conference on Sunday 5th July:
- Joan Smith @polblonde
- Julie Bindel @bindelj
- Connie Shaw @_ConnieShaw
- Jo Bartosch @jo_bartosch
The panel will discuss some of the most contentious issues affecting women and girls: grooming gangs, pornography and prostitution.
Have we retreated from challenging the forms of exploitation that disproportionately affect working-class women and girls?
Do institutions, including the police, respond differently depending on women’s social and economic status?
Our brilliant speakers will examine the relationship between feminism, class and violence, and ask whether contemporary feminism is willing (and able) to confront the realities of the challenges facing women and girls.
It promises to be controversial, thought-provoking and lively.

“Pride was never just a celebration. It was people with everything to lose, refusing to be silent.”
@JamieWhistle’s barn burner of a speech to the California Assembly Judiciary Committee.
In 2023, Jamie spoke out, knowing what it would cost, because children were being harmed.
Now SB 934 would silence the next clinician who wants to help a child accept their body, or ask about trauma, autism, or sexual orientation.
Pride was born from courage.
SB 934 is born from fear: fear of questions, fear of dissent, fear of admitting that gay and autistic kids are being medicalized instead of understood.

@simonlevans@francesbarber13 Nowhere in any of Foran’s lectures will you find him saying that people don’t ‘exist’. Ridiculous hyperbole. I’m heartbroken that so many people - particularly men like you, Simon - are so happy to trample over women who need female-only spaces. Shame on you.
@HeadWarriorTWM It must be possible to keep children safe. Our data is being collected everywhere via our phones etc.
No fixed view of that if I'm honest.
But i do feel that we should keep children safe.
