Tomorrow is #HumanRightsDay, an annual reminder of the ongoing fight for justice, equality and human dignity worldwide.
The delay in the introduction of the Human Rights Incorporation (Scotland) Bill is a significant barrier to achieving true equality.
We urge the Scottish Government to prioritise the Bill and stand alongside disabled people and all our allies in calling for urgent progress.
Inclusion Scotland is proud to support @nourishscotland's Human Rights Day of Action!
Inclusion Scotland welcomes the news of the £2.5m Disability Equalities Plan in the Scottish Budget, announced yesterday. This is an important step towards addressing the challenges disabled people and other marginalised communities face.
Viruses like flu and COVID-19 spread more easily during the colder months as we spend more time indoors with others. That’s why those most at risk of getting seriously ill are being offered the flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
Having the COVID-19 vaccine is an effective way to reduce the chances of hospitalisation by around 50%. Getting the flu vaccine helps prevent serious illness from flu and passing it on to others.
Find out if you’re eligible and book your appointment today.
Together, we’re shaping a future where disabled people are fully included throughout Scottish society as equal citizens. Thank you for being part of this journey.

This year's International Day of Disabled People celebrates the vital contributions of disabled people in creating a more inclusive society. It also emphasises the importance of our participation in decision-making processes that shape our lives.
As a community we work to create positive change by:
-Influencing decision-makers
-Supporting disabled people to be decision-makers themselves
-Building capacity, and raising awareness within the organisations and institutions that affect our lives.
