A workshop on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the Verification Unit (VU) was conducted in the charge of the Principal Commissioner of Income Tax, VU-3, Delhi.
Smt. Neema Gupta, ITO, delivered a detailed presentation on the SOPs under the guidance of Shri Prajesh K Srivastava, JCIT. The session was further enriched by Inspectors who shared their best practices and practical experiences in handling verification-related work.
Addressing the participants, Smt. Kesang Y. Sherpa, PCIT, emphasized the vital role of such orientation and capacity-building initiatives for officers & officials newly posted to VU in strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of verification functions.
