Alejandra is an Indigenous Pastos woman from Colombia, who promotes ancestral knowledge and intergenerational equity through the empowerment of women in climate justice.
It is our pleasure to announce that Yadixa Del Valle is the 2025 Incomindios-Lippuner Scholar, and will be hosted by our wonderful partners at the Centre for Indigenous and Settler Colonial Studies (CISCS) at the University of York.
We are delighted to announce that our final 2025 Incomindios UN Youth Scholar is none other than the wonderful Sara! With incredible national and international experience, we look forward to seeing what Sara will bring to the Scholarship.
Congratulations to Wara, our fourth 2025 Incomindios UN Youth Scholar! Wara is an Indigenous activist who looks at climate activism through a gendered lens, and we are so excited to have her on board.
The third amazing 2025 Incomindios UN Youth Scholar is Elisa, a Garifuna creative and political scientist from Honduras. Elisa works to revive cultural Garifuna traditions through storytelling, music and history.
Returning as a 2025 mentor, we are delighted to announce that Dayana is another Incomindios UN Youth Scholar! An Indigenous Aymara woman from Bolivia, Dayana focuses her work on using traditional Indigenous ecological knowledge to improve the ecosystem of the sacred Uru Uru Lake.
Jermani Ojeda LudeΓ±a won our Incomindios Lippuner Scholarship in 2023. As part of our 50th anniversary, we asked Jermani if he could tell us a little about his collaboration with Incomindios.
