@Bobtl2j@MartienBall That's the context from which he spoke and that does not mean he wants to put a dent on the managerial achievements of both Enrique and Flick.
@Bobtl2j@MartienBall What he meant was that, we shouldn't use his just ended tenure at the German National Team to draw conclusions because even the best of managers we have today in Enrique and Hansi Flick didn't live up to the task when they were both appointed managers of Spain and Germany.
I don’t know why, but it just feels like it’s meant to happen…
I have my reservations as well, but those using his failure with Germany against him should remember that Hansi Flick failed with the same national team, and even Luis Enrique failed with Spain.
Let’s not forget that Bayern were desperate to bring Nagelsmann back after sacking him, but he rejected them. He's a man of principle.
There’s still a very good manager in him IMO. But I stand by my opinion: NO manager will succeed at this club as long as the current owners are in charge.
🚨🎙️🔥 Ruben Amorim on Manchester United and Michael Carrick: “I MOVED ON. I’m at another BIG club now.”
“My club is AC Milan — and we have a lot of problems to solve, because at every big club, TROUBLE is always around the corner.”
“I’m focused on my team, my players and my staff.”
“What happened at Manchester United doesn’t change anything. I still LOVE that club.”
Abena Kyei Boakye commends Lawyer Martin Kpebu for remaining bold and consistent in speaking out against actions he considers wrong under the current government, just as he did under the previous administration.

🚨 LE PSG TOTALEMENT RENVERSANT S'IMPOSE 3-1 À STRASBOURG ! ❤️💙✅
Longtemps menés au score, les Parisiens ont renversé le match grâce à des buts de Zabarnyi, Ousmane Démêlé et Désiré Doué. ⚽️
Maintenant, place à Barcelone 🇪🇸.
Watch Martinez get the biggest cheer at Leeds by the fans. 100% deserves it for standing up to mediocrity owners and shite backroom staff not supporting Carrick in the summer window 👏🏻👏🏻 #MUFC
There’s probably NOBODY on this app who criticises United players more than I do. Believe me.
And when people say “We don’t need 10 world-class players to beat Leeds” they’re absolutely right.
A team with Lisandro, Yoro, Mainoo, Tielemans, Baleba, Bruno, Mbeumo, Amad, Sesko and Cunha IS NOT A BAD TEAM. In fact, it’s a VERY, VERY good team.
But what people fail to understand is just how much the environment affects PERFORMANCE.
Imagine you work in IT. Every 10 months, your manager gets sacked. A new one comes in with different ideas, different rules, different systems and a completely different way of working.
At some point, you get annoyed and start asking yourself questions. What am I doing here? Why do I have to change the way I work every 10 months?
Now apply that to footballers.
These players have no idea what the long-term vision of this club is. They have nothing to believe in, no consistent leadership to follow and no clear direction to work towards because every 10 months, EVERYTHING changes.
And people wonder why their performances suffer?
I genuinely believe Lisandro’s comments represent about 5% of what these players actually discuss behind closed doors.
They don’t believe in the board. They don’t believe in the project. And when the people running the club keep changing direction, how are the players supposed to fully buy into anything?
This is EXACTLY why I’ve always advocated for giving a manager 3 years.
Not because every manager deserves unlimited patience, but because players need stability. They need a clear vision, a consistent way of working and most importantly, TIME to believe in what they’re building.
We saw it with Klopp. We saw it with Arteta. Neither transformed their club overnight. It took time to build the right environment, establish standards and get everyone pulling in the same direction.
You cannot keep changing managers, systems and philosophies every few months and expect the players to perform like a team that has been building something for years.
It’s not just about the players or the manager. It starts with the board, then the manager, then the players. EVERYONE needs to do their job, and the BOARD KEEPS FAILING BOTH THE MANAGERS AND THE PLAYERS.
