UPDATE ON MY NETSTAR SITUATION!

I believe that if I can publicly call out a brand when something goes wrong, I should equally acknowledge them when they make things right.

Following my tweet, the Netstar team reached out to me, took accountability, cancelled my policy and processed a FULL REFUND for all the years I was incorrectly debited.

I must say, I’m genuinely impressed by how quickly and proactively they handled the matter once it was brought to their attention.

Shoutout to @NetstarSA for taking accountability and making things right. 👏🏽

And to everyone, please don’t be afraid to hold brands accountable. Your voice matters, and companies should be willing to listen, take responsibility and fix things when they get it wrong.

🚨BE CAREFUL WITH NETSTAR!

Imagine having to CLOSE your entire bank account just to stop a company from taking your money. 😭💔 This is the point Netstar has pushed me to!

For YEARS, I’ve been trying to cancel my account. I’ve sent countless emails, called their call centre repeatedly, and even received confirmation that my account was CANCELLED.

But guess what? THE DEBIT ORDERS CONTINUE!

I block the debit order, and somehow another one appears under a different name. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED?!

I’m genuinely exhausted. Years of money being deducted for a service I’ve repeatedly asked to cancel.

Has anyone else experienced this with @NetstarSA , or am I the only one? PLEASE share your experience.
