ЮНЕСКО (Организация Объединённых Наций по вопросам образования, науки и культуры) включила культурно-археологический ландшафт Сирпур в штате Чхаттисгарх в Предварительный список объектов Всемирного наследия Индии.

Расположенный на берегах реки Маханади, этот древний город процветал с V по XII век н. э. как оживлённый центр торговли, образования и городской жизни, где бок о бок стояли индуистские храмы, буддийские вихары и джайнские памятники. Знаменитый кирпичный храм Лакшмана и здания, возведённые из строматолитовой породы возрастом в миллиард лет, делают этот город поистине уникальным.

Set on the banks of the Mahanadi River, this ancient town flourished from the 5th to the 12th century CE as a thriving centre of trade, learning and urban life, where Hindu temples, Buddhist viharas and Jain monuments stood side by side. Its iconic brick Laxman Temple and buildings crafted from billion-year-old stromatolitic rock make it truly one of a kind.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол г-н Винай Кумар выступил на сессии «Международное сотрудничество в рамках СНГ, БРИКС и ШОС: возможности для бизнеса».

Отметив рост торговли Индии с регионом, посол пригласил региональные предприятия принять участие в деловых выставках и мероприятиях, таких как WAVES и Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026,(Технический саммит в Бангалоре 2026) а также в инвестиционных саммитах штатов, например «Vibrant Gujarat»(Оживленный Гуджарат) в Индии, для изучения возможностей сотрудничества.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол также рекомендовал предприятиям региона обращаться в экономический отдел посольства Индии в Москве и в генеральные консульства Индии в Санкт-Петербурге, Владивостоке, Казани и Екатеринбурге за информацией и содействием в поиске деловых партнёров в Индии.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол подчеркнул приоритетные отрасли Индии и рассказал участникам о таких программах, как стимулирование производства (Production Linked Incentives), Национальная миссия по критически важным полезным ископаемым, оборонные промышленные коридоры, грузовые коридоры и «Морское видение Индии 2030». Кроме того, посол рассказал о возможностях в сфере креативной экономики и образования в Индии.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол также пригласил предприятия региона инвестировать в развитие Индии и стать участниками её пути к #ViksitBharat2047 («Развитая Индия — 2047»).

Nizhny Novgorod Economic Forum:
Ambassador @VKumar1969 spoke in the session on “International Cooperation within the CIS, BRICS and the SCO: Opportunities for Business”.

While highlighting the increase in trade of India with the region, Ambassador invited the regional industries to participate in business exhibitions and events like WAVES, Bengaluru Tech Summit 2026, and State-led investment summits like the Vibrant Gujarat in India for exploring collaboration.

Ambassador also suggested the industries of the region to contact the Economic wing of the Indian Embassy in Moscow and Indian Consulates in St Petersburg, Vladivostok, Kazan and Yekaterinburg for any information and handholding in their effort to find business partners in India.

Ambassador emphasised on the priority sectors of India and informed the participants about schemes like Production Linked Incentives, National Critical Mineral Mission, Defence Industrial Corridors, Freight corridors and Maritime India Vision 2030. In addition, Ambassador highlighted about the possibilities in the Creative economy and education sectors in India.

Ambassador also invited the industries of the region to invest and be a stakeholder in India’s journey towards @ViksitBharat2047.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол г-н Винай Кумар провёл встречу с губернатором Нижегородской области Его Превосходительством Глебом Никитиным на полях форума.
Губернатор приветствовал посла и отметил значительный рост торговли между Нижегородской областью и Индией, которая за последние 9 лет выросла в 9 раз. Губернатор также подчеркнул растущий интерес региональных компаний к направлению бизнес-миссий в Индию, о чём свидетельствует их участие в выставке ИННОПРОМ в Нью-Дели, которая пройдёт с 9 по 11 сентября 2026 года. Он особо отметил соглашения об открытии Центра передовых компетенций в области искусственного интеллекта и кибербезопасности и Регионального бизнес-центра с Индией как свидетельства растущего партнёрства.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол выразил признательность за радушный приём и заявил о необходимости чаще направлять бизнес-миссии с отраслевой направленностью в различные регионы Индии. Посол отметил расширение сотрудничества между регионами в сфере мобильности кадров и образования и пригласил ИТ-компании региона принять участие в Bengaluru Tech Summit (Технологический саммит в Бангалоре), который пройдёт с 17 по 19 ноября 2026 года.

Чрезвычайный и Полномочный Посол поблагодарил губернатора за создание благоприятных условий для работы и учёбы граждан Индии в Нижегородской области.

Nizhny Novgorod Economic Forum:
Ambassador @VKumar1969 held a meeting with the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, H. E. Mr Gleb Nikitin on the sidelines of the forum.

The Governor welcomed Ambassador and highlighted the significant increase in trade between Nizhny Novgorod region and India, which has increased by 9 times in last 9 years. The Governor also highlighted rising interest of regional companies on sending business missions to India as reflected in their participation in INNOPROM in New Delhi from September 9-11, 2026. He emphasised the agreements to open the Centre for Excellence in AI and cyber Security and Regional business centre with India as signs of growing partnership.

Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the welcome and stated that there is a need for further increasing the frequency of business missions with sectoral focus to different regions of India. Ambassador highlighted the increasing collaboration in skill mobility and academics between the regions and invited the IT companies of the region to participate in the Bengaluru Tech Summit from 17-19 November, 2026.

Ambassador thanked the Governor for providing conducive conditions for work and study for the Indian citizens in Nizhny Novgorod Region.
