I also raised issues in regards to my MYP education priorities:
-life skills e.g. money management and interest rates
-move away from traditional exam system
Had a meeting tonight with @SSUofNI and the independent review panel for education commissioned by DE.
Disability inequality within education was a main issue raised:
-unfair exam arrangements process
-accessibility issues with curriculum
-underfunding of SEN

As well as touring the school's facilities, the panel had the opportunity to meet with staff and pupils, and discuss the strengths and challenges of special schools.
We welcomed the Independent Review of Education panel as well as officials from @Education_NI to Castlereagh EOTAS where they were given a short presentation by Gillian Cuthbert, EA Interim Head of Service for Post Primary Behaviour Support. 1/2
