Sneaking in today’s #libfaves22 pick: SPEAR by Nicola Griffith. I’m already inclined to fall deeply into any Arthurian tale, and Griffith packs so much into this rich novella that gives a new perspective on the legends.

Running late on #LibFaves22, but in no particular order, here are my picks! First, INTO THE RIVERLANDS by Nghi Vo, the third in this novella series all about stories and connection. She packs so much into these short works, and they’re a great time!

It’s just that I love Naomi Novik. THE GOLDEN ENCLAVES was a satisfying end to her dark magic school trilogy featuring a prickly main character, slow-burn friendships and found family, and monster slaying. #libfaves22

And my final #libfaves2021 pick is Naomi Novik’s THE LAST GRADUATE, which is not only a great read but a successful middle book!

Hooray for #libfaves2021! Not ready with an order of any kind, but my book for day 1 is the bittersweet LONELY CASTLE IN THE MIRROR written by Mizuki Tsujimura and translated by Phillip Gabriel

My only nonfiction pick for #libfaves2021 is John Green’s tender, funny, wrenching, heartfelt, and hopeful THE ANTHROPOCENE REVIEWED, which you should listen to in audiobook form.
