PM @narendramodi met President @JMilei of Argentina today, on the margins of #G20 Summit. This was the first meet between the two leaders.

Both leaders reviewed 🇮🇳-🇦🇷 Strategic Partnership and agreed to further deepen and diversify the bilateral relationship particularly in the areas of digital technology, pharmaceuticals, defence, space, energy, mineral resources and railways.

El Gabinete aprueba el programa «Khelo India» para la fabricación de artículos deportivos, con el fin de crear un ecosistema de producción competitivo a nivel mundial

💠 El programa cuenta con una inversión total de 1.856,67 millones de rupias (₹1.856,67 crore) para el periodo comprendido entre 2026 y 2033-34.

💠 Su objetivo es fortalecer la base de fabricación de artículos deportivos en la India mediante un apoyo específico en áreas como la inversión, la adopción de tecnología, la investigación y la innovación, el desarrollo de capacidades, la certificación de calidad y el desarrollo de mercados.

💠 El programa contempla la creación de «Zonas de Fabricación de Artículos Deportivos» (SGMZ, por sus siglas en inglés) para fomentar la producción basada en clústeres y establecer ecosistemas industriales integrados, mediante la concentración en un mismo espacio de fabricantes, proveedores, instalaciones de ensayo, centros de diseño y creación de prototipos, y empresas auxiliares.

El Embajador @AjaneeshK participó en la inauguración del Grupo Parlamentario de Amistad India-Argentina (GPA India-Argentina), por invitación de la Honorable Diputada Rocío Bonacci @RocioBonacci, presidenta de dicho grupo. El Embajador informó a los diputados sobre el estado actual de la relación bilateral, la cual, en pocas palabras, se define por el concepto de complementariedad. Asimismo, destacó las áreas en las que la India puede convertirse en un proveedor clave, tales como tecnología, maquinaria pesada, productos farmacéuticos, dispositivos e insumos médicos, artículos electrónicos y energías renovables, con especial énfasis en la energía solar. El Embajador también subrayó la necesidad de fortalecer los vínculos entre ambos pueblos mediante la participación en ferias comerciales y exposiciones, intercambios culturales y programas de becas. El acto estuvo presidido por la Honorable Diputada Nacional Rocío Bonacci y contó con la presencia de otros 11 diputados nacionales.

Ambassador @AjaneeshK participated in the India-Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group (I-A PFG) inauguration at the invitation of Ms Rocio Bonacci @RocioBonacci, Hon’ble Deputy and President of I-A PFG. Ambassador briefed Hon’ble deputies about the current status of bilateral relationship which in a nutshell defined by the word complementarity. He highlighted the possibilities where India can become a major provider for technology, heavy machinery, pharmaceuticals, medical devices & disposables, electronic items and renewable energy particularly solar energy. Ambassador also emphasised on the need for strengthening people to people engagements through participation in the trade fairs / exhibition, cultural exchanges and scholarships. The event was chaired by hon’ble National Deputy, Ms Rocio Bonacci and attended by 11 National Deputies.
