@briebriejoy I wish. Sorry if I'm not as optimistic. US citizens love to hate the reps and Dems but keep supporting them every cycle no matter what. We deserve this.
@DrJillStein Dems blame Green candidates for spoiling so they don't have to explain why they lose votes to the GOP.
Ranked Choice Voting would eliminate the alleged spoiler factor but the Democratic Party would rather lose to someone like Trump than tolerate third parties on the ballot. 2/2
“A third party can’t win so you have to vote for one of the two corporate parties” is the kind of thinking that keeps this corrupt system alive. A third party can win if the people vote for it & the people lose every election anyway when either corporate party wins so we have nothing to lose by voting third party. #VoteGreen2024
@anthonyzenkus Why can Reps not figure this out? She's not Trump. That's what she's running on. It's 100% true and you can't hold it against her later. And sadly, that may be all that one needs to win against Trump ...
From FairVote Senior Fellow @davedaley3: RFK Jr. may be out of the race, but the “spoiler” problem remains. There’s a fair way to ensure third-party candidates don’t spoil the election.
Psst: It’s #RankedChoiceVoting 😉 https://t.co/v7PgqeOyFC
Oh you want to talk about “wasted votes”:
Voting for either corporate party when all they do is sell us out to Wall Street and their rich donors is a wasted vote.
Voting for a third party & building a movement against the corrupt duopoly is the only useful way to use your vote.
@DoubleNW @SAVoltolin She couldn't get any traction as a dem candidate. Lincoln, Washington, JFK, and FDR would be written off as unable to win as a 3rd party or independent these days. But you think Harris could get traction? 🤔😀
We expect to have 517 potential electoral votes, well over the required 270 electoral votes to win the White House!
