In 1990, Sarla Bhat, 27, was working as a staff nurse at Srinagar’s SKIMS hospital to support her family, even as fear forced her community to flee.
On April 15, 1990, Sarla was abducted from her hostel. For four agonizing days, JKLF terrorists subjected her to brutal torture and sexual assault. When her body was dumped in Mallabagh on April 19, her killers had carved the acronym "JKLF" directly into her flesh from a knife.
The horror continued for her family. When Sarla’s bullet-ridden body returned to Anantnag, the neighborhood was already a ghost town emptied by the exodus. Marooned and helpless, the grieving family could not find enough people to carry her to a funeral pyre. As they attempted her final rites, a grenade was hurled at their home. This targeted terror forced the last remaining Hindu families to flee.
Systemic apathy followed. Though a police complaint was filed in 1990, the file was buried. It took until 2025 for a Special Investigation Agency to reopen the case, naming four terrorists. Two are dead, one is absconding, and one is imprisoned: Yasin Malik, who was once pampered as a Damaad by New Delhi, invited to the high table as one of the esteemed "stakeholders in the Kashmir peace talks." Yesterday, chargesheet was filed in this case.
Sarla’s case is not isolated. Thousands of women faced similar brutality in Kashmir during the late 1980s and 1990s, leaving behind stories that have been completely erased from the records today.
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists openly attended Shoaib Akhtar’s brother Shahid Akhtar’s funeral. PMML’s Inam Rehman & other LeT terrorists were present…video officially released by LeT/PMML itself.
Where are the ‘keep sports & terrorism separate’ champions now ? Your silence is deafening.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) Condemns Shameful Life Sentence for Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Shah by Pakistani Authorities
The Hague, The Netherlands – June 23, 2026 – The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) expresses its strongest condemnation regarding the reprehensible life sentence handed down by a Pakistani Anti-Terrorism Court to prominent human rights defender Dr. Mahrang Baloch and her colleague, Sibghatullah Shah .
This verdict is a blatant miscarriage of justice and a devastating blow to the rule of law in Pakistan. Dr. Baloch, a leader of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), has been a fearless and peaceful voice for the Baloch people, courageously campaigning against enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and state repression in Balochistan . Her only crime is her dedication to exposing grave human rights violations .
The IHRF is deeply alarmed by the egregious procedural irregularities and denial of due process that characterized this “secret trial” . A proceeding that denies the accused the right to effectively cross-examine witnesses or present a proper defense, held in a “faceless court” on jail premises, cannot be considered a legitimate judicial process . This is not justice; it is a politically motivated weaponization of the judicial system to silence dissent and intimidate human rights defenders .
We echo the calls of Amnesty International and other international bodies, who have condemned this verdict as an affront to the right to a fair trial . The state’s cynical misuse of anti-terrorism laws to prosecute peaceful activism represents a dangerous escalation in the crackdown on fundamental freedoms in Pakistan .
The IHRF urges the Government of Pakistan to immediately and unconditionally release Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sibghatullah Shah, and to ensure their safety and well-being.
We call upon the international community, including the United Nations Human Rights Council, to:
1. Denounce this injustice and place Pakistan under close scrutiny for its escalating human rights violations.
2. Demand transparency in all legal proceedings against human rights defenders and a full investigation into the circumstances of this case.
3. Pressure Pakistani authorities to cease the persecution of peaceful activists and uphold their international obligations regarding due process and fundamental rights.
The IHRF stands in solidarity with Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Sibghatullah Shah, and all peaceful activists in Pakistan who risk their lives for justice and human dignity.
Extremely Alarming Situation in Bangladesh!
For the past few days, radical Islamists have been openly waving flags of Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Hamas in various districts of the country, including the capital Dhaka. The international media is completely silent on these issues!
WATCH: President Trump cracks a joke about America's commitment to defending India as long as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is still leading the country:
REPORTER: "Can you speak to the defense relationship between India and the United States?"
TRUMP: "If anybody attacks that man, we're going to be there. Now if there's a new leader, I'm not sure about it."
"If they're attacked and he's the leader, we're going to be there to help."
🇺🇸🇮🇳 Trump on India & Modi:
"If they were attacked, we would be there to help them.
If anybody attacks that man, we're going to be there.
Now, if there's a new leader, I'm not sure..."
Pakistan, did you hear that?

🚨 Midnight Delhi Conspiracy Revealed!
On the night of June 14, a drama unfolded at the Delhi airport surrounding Dr. Zahedur Rahman, advisor to Bangladesh Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. After that, Dhaka summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner. But I am revealing what no one knows.
Dr. Zahed, an advisor with the rank of State Minister, went to India with a regular passport instead of using a diplomatic passport. He did not even obtain a visa before going to India. Why? Because, the staunch anti-India Zahedur actually wanted to cause such an incident to further worsen Bangladesh's relations with India.
It is also known that for years, Dr. Zahed has been spreading terrible propaganda against India on his YouTube channel. He is also carrying out similar activities on Facebook.
Dr. Zahedu is known to have deep ties with Pakistan. He has always been involved in trying to portray India as an enemy state of Bangladesh and a "shameless nation".
Anti-India groups in Bangladesh are spreading propaganda stating Dr. Zahedur was insulted in Delhi by the immigration authorities. They are also calling for the severance of diplomatic relations with India.
I suspect that Dr. Zahed staged a drama in Delhi to divert everyone's attention from the ongoing plot to demolish the statues of Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna, and Lord Ram, as well as to stop the work on the huge Sanatan Complex in Gaibandha district.
Any country in the world can put a person on a no-fly list if it considers that person a threat to its national security.
@DHSgov White supremacist groups are racist organizations... Many such groups have sought to shape American society, including through hate crimes and domestic terrorism.
The Himachal Pradesh high court’s landmark ruling in Kashmir Chand Shadyal v State of Himachal Pradesh on 14 October, reaffirmed that temple funds belong to the deity, not the state.
The division bench of Justices Vivek Singh Thakur and BC Negi declared that donations to Hindu temples were sacred offerings and could not be diverted for secular (not Hindu-specific, non-religious) schemes.
Every rupee of temple funds, the court ruled, must be used for the temple’s own religious activities or dharmic charities consistent with its traditions. Any misuse will now constitute a criminal breach of trust.
The bench also reaffirmed that, under Articles 25 and 26 of the Constitution, blanket administrative orders could not curtail a community’s right to worship.
Himachal Pradesh manages over 20,000 temples through the Himachal Pradesh Hindu Public Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1984, which empowers the government to supervise donations and even divert surpluses to public welfare.
Such laws, which have counterparts in several states, are relics of colonial policy. The court’s verdict effectively questions this framework, recognizing the deity as the rightful owner of all temple assets.
The high court judgement strengthens a movement that views temple autonomy as a civilizational necessity.
By law, a temple is not merely a public institution but the abode of a living deity - a juristic person with legal rights.
The management of its property, rituals and donations is thus a sacred duty, not a bureaucratic assignment. #FreeHinduTemples

And perhaps that is the most sobering lesson of Pahalgam. Pakistan did not merely test India’s security architecture. It tested the international system’s willingness to treat terrorism as a principle rather than a bargaining chip. By now, Islamabad has little reason to fear the verdict.
Because if Pahalgam has proved anything, it is that Pakistan’s greatest strategic asset is not Lashkar or TRF. It is the world’s ability to look away.
"How many generals have you fired?"
🇺🇸Hegseth: "I don't know the number"
"You dont know the number? It's eight. Why did you fire them?"
🇺🇸Hegseth: "At the pleasure of the president..."
