India warned Europe. Europe ignored India. Now Europe is paying the price.

Belgium’s PM says it plainly: “India saw this earlier than we did. And they warned us. And we didn’t listen.”

He also acknowledged that India’s Prime Minister warned Europe about the dangers of dependency on China & US and China’s economic leverage but “he was ignored.”

Now Europe is listening. The lesson is brutal: strategic autonomy cannot be built after dependency becomes a weapon.

India saw the danger early. India raised the alarm. Europe dismissed it. Today, Europe wants to learn from the warning it once ignored.

5 days. Still unresolved. And this is STAGNANT SEWAGE at the mouth of the main approach road to Tigra, Sector 50/57, Gurugram. 🚨

Fresh footage from 31 Aug shows the same sewage accumulation at Tigra Chowk, opposite Lotus Valley School and Nirvana The Close.

A strong urine-ammonia stench, stagnant sewage on a busy public thoroughfare, and daily exposure for residents, schoolchildren, pedestrians, cyclists and workers.

The real concern is public health and the risk of illness from prolonged exposure to stagnant sewage.

We have also raised this directly with the concerned GMDA officer today, requesting an urgent site inspection and immediate resolution. Regrettably, there has been no acknowledgement or response so far.

Haryana has just 5 food-safety officers against 45 sanctioned posts.

How have these vacancies been allowed to remain in a state where a district like Gurugram is constantly promoted as the face of #HappeningHaryana? @NayabSainiBJP ji @ArtiSinghRao ji?

As regards Gurugram - it is a food hub for Delhi-NCR. People come here from Delhi and across the NCR to eat.

And with the alarming findings coming out through the efforts of @Tukaram_IndIAS ji in Maharashtra, shouldn’t this have triggered an immediate look at our own inspection capacity?

How many inspections are actually possible with just 5 officers?!

Why should citizens have to complain before the system steps in ?

#TigraChowk, Sector 57, facing Lotus Valley School & Nirvana The Close Apartments, Sector 50, #Ward15.

This is sewage water, not rainwater. It has remained unresolved for more than 48 hours, turning a major thoroughfare into a large, foul-smelling sewage lake. The overpowering ammonia/urine stench and acrid fumes are unbearable, forcing pedestrians and cyclists to navigate through it.

More than a lakh people live in this area, many of them community workers and domestic staff who do not have organised RWA bodies to represent them. Many live in Tigra and say their concerns are not heard by landlords.

@PradeepIAS_HR ji @JalukaYash ji Our ward 15 has such a MCG sanitation department, JE, SDO and ward councillor safai karamchsris MCG contractors and engineers…How can a sewage lake be allowed to remain in the middle of one of the busiest thoroughfares for more than 48 hours?

Please send the concerned team for an urgent site inspection, identify the source and clear the sewage immediately. Kindly acknowledge and confirm action taken.
