നടി ഉഷ ഹസീന വർ​ഗീയ വാദി എന്ന് വിളിച്ചതിൽ രൂക്ഷ പ്രതികരണവുമായി നടി ലക്ഷ്മിപ്രിയ. താൻ സനാതന വിശ്വാസിയാണെന്നും മതേതരത്വത്തില്ല വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ലക്ഷ്മിപ്രിയ പറയുന്നു. ചില നല്ല മനുഷ്യർ ഇപ്പോഴുമുണ്ട്. അവർ നമുക്ക് സാന്ത്വനമാകും. മുറിവുകളിൽ ലേപനമാകും. ഒരിക്കൽ പോലും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ചില മനുഷ്യർ , ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും കാണാൻ വിദൂര സാധ്യത പോലുമില്ലാത്ത മനുഷ്യർ. അകലങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്ന് അവർ നമ്മേ സ്നേഹിച്ചു കൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കും. അത്തരത്തിൽ ആരോ ചെയ്ത വീഡിയോയാണിത്. നിറഞ്ഞ സ്നേഹവും നന്ദിയും അറിയിക്കട്ടെ, ആ അജ്ഞാത സുഹൃത്തിന്! മറ്റ് ചിലരുണ്ട്, അമ്മയായും അമ്മയിയായും ഒക്കെ വർഷങ്ങളായി കൂടെ കാണും. അവസരം വരുമ്പോ കട്ടപ്പയെ പോലെ പിന്നിൽ കുത്തി വീഴ്ത്തും, ചത്തു എന്ന് കരുതി വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചവിട്ടിയരയ്ക്കും. അവർ അറിയുന്നില്ല, നമ്മുടെ ഉള്ളിലെ ആത്മീയ ശക്തിയെപ്പറ്റി. പുലി പതുങ്ങുന്നത് ഒളിയ്ക്കാൻ അല്ല. കൂടുതൽ ശക്തമായി മുന്നോട്ട് കുതിക്കാനാണ്.അവനവൻ വിചാരിച്ചാൽ മാത്രം തളരുന്ന ജനുസ്സ് ആണ് എന്റേത്. മനുഷ്യൻ, അനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ മൂശയിൽ വാർക്കപ്പെട്ടതാവണം. ഒരു ശക്തിയ്ക്കും അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരെ തച്ചുടയ്ക്കാൻ ആവില്ല. 1 എന്താണ് എന്റെ മതം? മതത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ആവർത്തിച്ചു പറയുകയും എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്നിൽ ലജ്ജ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.പത്തു കിതാബും ഓതി തികഞ്ഞത് എന്ന് അഭിമാനത്തോടെ പറഞ്ഞിരുന്ന എന്റെ വാപ്പുമ്മ എന്നെ മതം പഠിപ്പിച്ചില്ല. എന്റെ വീട്ടിലും ഓണാട്ടുകര പ്രദേശത്തും മതം കല്യാണത്തിനും മരണത്തിനും മാത്രം നോക്കുന്ന ഒരു അപൂർവ സംഭവം ആയിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ മുസ്ലിം മതത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചവൾ എന്ന ഫീൽ പോലും എന്റെ പതിനാറാം വയസ്സിൽ ആലപ്പുഴ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിലെ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ വാർഡിൽ സർജറി കഴിഞ്ഞു കിടന്നപ്പോൾ പോയതാണ്. കാരണം, അന്ന് പുലയ സമുദായത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരു അമ്മൂമ്മയായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ വെള്ളപ്പാണ്ട് പിടിച്ച കൈ കൊണ്ട് എന്റെ പല്ല് തേപ്പിച്ചു തന്നിരുന്നതും ഭക്ഷണം വാരി തന്നിരുന്നതും. മൂത്രം എടുത്തതും ദേഹം തുടച്ച് തന്നതുമൊക്കെ ആ വാർഡിലെ മുഴുവൻ കൂട്ടിരുപ്പുകാരായ അമ്മമാരും ചേർന്ന് ആയിരുന്നു. അന്ന് എന്നിൽ നിന്നും ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയതാണ് എന്നിലെ ജാതി മത ചിന്തകൾ.

2 എന്നാൽ സനാതന ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ അലകൾ എന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ചാരം മൂടിയ കനൽ പോലെ. അത് ഒരു മനോഹരമായ ജീവിത ചര്യയാണ്. അല്ലാതെ അതൊരു മതം അല്ല. ധ്യാന ശ്ലോകങ്ങളും മന്ത്രങ്ങളും സംസ്‌കൃത കഥകളും ചെറുപ്പം മുതൽക്കേ നൃത്തം അഭ്യസിച്ചത് കൊണ്ട് എന്നായിരുന്നു എന്റെ വിശ്വാസം. വിവാഹ ശേഷം ഭർത്താവിന്റെ മതം പിന്തുടരണം എന്ന് എനിക്ക് നിർബന്ധമുള്ളതിനാൽ ഹിന്ദു മതം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ഒന്നും രണ്ടും കൊല്ലം മുൻപല്ല. 23 കൊല്ലങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ്, എന്റെ പതിനെട്ടു വയസ്സിൽ. അതിന് ശേഷം ആണ് എന്റെ സ്വത്വം ഞാൻ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നത്. എന്റെ കുടുംബ പരമ്പരയായ ഏഴു തലമുറയെയും എന്റെ പാരമ്പര്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും ബോധ്യം ഉള്ളത് കൊണ്ടാണ് അത്.
3 കഥയും കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളും സാങ്കല്പ്പികമല്ല എന്ന പേരിൽ 2019 ൽ എന്റെ ആത്മകഥ പുറത്ത് വന്നപ്പോൾ അതിൽ ഞാൻ എഴുതിയത് വായിച്ചാണ് ഞാൻ മുസ്ലിം ആയിരുന്നു എന്ന് എല്ലാവരും അറിയുന്നത്. അതുവരെ ഏതോ ഉന്നത കുല ജാതയായ ഹിന്ദു സ്ത്രീ എന്നൊക്കെ ആണ് ആളുകൾ കരുതിയിരുന്നത്. ഹിന്ദു മതം സ്വീകരിച്ചതും മുസ്ലിം മതം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചതും ഒരു മഹാ കാര്യം ആയി എനിക്ക് തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല. കാരണം ഒരു മതവും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും ആന്തരിക സൗഖ്യം അല്ലാതെ ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല എന്ന് എനിക്കറിയാം. പിന്നെ എന്റെ മതം തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് തികച്ചും വ്യക്തിപരമാണല്ലോ?

4 ലക്ഷ്മി പ്രിയ മതേതരയാണോ? ഒരിക്കലും അല്ല. കാരണം മതേതരത്വം എന്നത് ഒരു കപട വാക്കാണ്.ഞാൻ സനാതന ധർമ്മ വിശ്വാസിയാണ്. എല്ലാ വിശ്വാസത്തേയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ ആദിയും അന്തവും ഇല്ലാത്ത ആ ധർമ്മത്തിന് കഴിയും. എന്റെ മതേതരത്വം എന്നത് മറ്റ് മതങ്ങളെയും വിശ്വാസങ്ങളെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കുക എന്നതാണ്. മറ്റ് മതങ്ങൾ മോശം എന്ന് പറയൽ അല്ല. ശ്രീമതി ഉഷ ഹസീനയോട്, 23 വർഷമായി ഒരേ ഭർത്താവിന്റെ ഒരേ ഒരു ഭാര്യയാണ് ഞാൻ. ഹിന്ദു ഭർത്താവിന് വേണ്ടി ലക്ഷ്മിയും കാലങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം മുസ്ലിം ഭർത്താവിന് വേണ്ടി സബീനയായി തുടരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൾ അല്ല ലക്ഷ്മി പ്രിയ. എന്ന് വച്ചാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ പേരിൽ ഉള്ളത് പോലെ രണ്ട് വള്ളത്തിൽ അല്ല കാല്. ഹിന്ദു എന്ന് പേര് കൊണ്ട് തോന്നിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഉഷയും മുസ്ലിം എന്ന് തോന്നിയ്ക്കുന്ന ഹസീനയും അല്ല. ലക്ഷ്മി പ്രിയ - ഒരേ ഒരു ഐഡന്റ്റ്റി. സനാതന ധർമ്മ വിശ്വാസിയായ ലക്ഷ്മി പ്രിയ. നിങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ചിലർക്ക് ഉഷയും ചിലർക്ക് ഹസീനയും അല്ല. എന്റെ മത സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ഭരണഘടന എനിക്ക് നൽകുന്ന സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമാണ്.

But it was a US planted psyop at a time Indians were getting very anti-US due to killing of Indian sailors. And things were going south for India-US relations, and BRICS meeting was coming up, India could realign etc.

Do understand there are forces making everyone behave in a certain way in every SM. You may think you are very independent, intelligent, and posting things yourself. But may be it is not that way.

Many people are criticizing the Mid-Day Meal system, but most of them have never been involved with it. I worked with it for nine years, so I want to share a few facts.

1. No school could regularly provide eggs, meat, or other nutritious food within the official budget. For example, when one egg cost ₹6, the allocation was only ₹6.77 per student. After buying the egg, only 77 paise was left for fuel, spices, and cooking expenses. It was simply not possible.

2. So did schools serve eggs and meat? Yes, they did, mainly in two ways:

a. By showing higher student attendance than the actual number. This sometimes led to corruption, and even when there was no corruption, schools could face complaints for showing extra students.

b. Teachers often contributed money from their own pockets to provide better food and celebrate special occasions. But in official reports, they still had to show the meals according to the government budget.

3. Most parents and local leaders do not know how little money is allocated per student. So they often complain about less meat, less oil, or poor quality food. In the end, teachers become the easy target.

4. The Mid-Day Meal scheme is very important. But education is equally important. When teachers are made responsible for managing meals, teaching takes a back seat. This cannot continue forever.

5. That is why I welcome ISKCON's initiative, which is already running in many parts of India. I also support the Chief Minister's decision. I hope organizations like Ramakrishna Mission and others will join this effort. Teachers should be freed from Mid-Day Meal duties so they can focus on teaching students.
