Untuk pertama kalinya, kapasitas listrik bersih (338,74 GW) telah melampaui kapasitas bahan bakar fosil (301,95 GW).
Itu merupakan pertumbuhan 12 kali lipat dalam kurun waktu 25 tahun.

Di bawah kepemimpinan PM @narendramodi, Kabinet Persatuan telah menyetujui empat proyek multitracking (penambahan jalur) yang mencakup delapan distrik di Benggala Barat, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, dan Andhra Pradesh, dengan perkiraan biaya sebesar Rp9.450 crore (sekitar 18,3 triliun rupiah) dan ditargetkan selesai pada 2030-31.

➡️ Penambahan jaringan kereta api sepanjang 410 km ini akan meningkatkan mobilitas secara signifikan, yang berdampak pada peningkatan efisiensi operasional dan keandalan layanan bagi Kereta Api India.

➡️ Proyek ini juga akan menghasilkan tambahan lalu lintas barang sebesar 76 MTPA (juta ton per tahun), membantu mencapai target iklim sekaligus meminimalkan biaya logistik negara, mengurangi impor minyak sekitar 13 crore liter (130 juta liter), serta menurunkan emisi CO2 sebesar kurang lebih 65 crore kg (650 juta kg).

Under the leadership of PM @narendramodi, the Union Cabinet has approved four multitracking projects covering eight districts in West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, at an estimated cost of Rs. 9,450 crore, to be completed up to 2030-31.

➡️ This 410 kms railway network increase will significantly enhance mobility, resulting in improved operational efficiency & service reliability for Indian Railways.

➡️ It will also result in additional freight traffic of magnitude 76 MTPA, help both in achieving climate goals and minimizing logistics cost of the country, reduce oil import by approx. 13 cr litres and lower CO2 emissions by approx. 65 cr kg.

Counsellor (Political) Vikram Vardhan called on Mr. Idham Holik, Commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU) of Indonesia, for a useful exchange on India–Indonesia cooperation.

An MoU between Election Commission of India (ECI) and the General Elections Commission (KPU) of Indonesia was signed on July 7, 2026 during the visit of Prime Minister of India to Indonesia.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss experiences and strengthen institutional engagement between the two countries.

On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day of India, the Embassy of India in Jakarta organized flag hoisting ceremony at the new Chancery-cum-Residential premises.

Over 700 Indian diaspora community members and friends of India gathered for the flag hoisting ceremony.

The flag hosting and singing of the national anthem was followed by cultural performances. Participants enjoyed the mesmerising performances and rendition of patriotic songs. 🇮🇳
