Starting up this account to point out and discuss the transfers being made by clubs in Indian. Will also be getting into stuff happening in the Ileague 2, and some tactical stuff happening at few of the clubs
So.. it seems like few of the so called player signings of @eastbengalfc are not yet done. Sehnaj has agreed, but not signed it yet. And interestingly, another one player who was reportedly done to Eb is now close to signing for @KeralaBlasters . Any guesses? (hint: Kibu's guy)
@ChennaiyinFC haven't been the biggest spender in foreign players. So can't see them retaining Rafael Crivellaro if the @eastbengalfc reports are true. Goain at 37 might be a bit too old for a 27 game season. Owen Coyle though seems to be the favoured option.
Being asked about @ChennaiyinFC transfers quite often. The versatile defender Ajith from ccfc seems to be a target.
Chennaiyin's indian core often goes unnoticed. Thapa, Chhangte, Edwin, Vishal and now Ajith would be a pretty useful bunch. Talks of Jerry and German moving out
Vikram Pratap to East bengal doesn't sound right, but stranger things have happened.
This season's Arrows kids reportedly want more I-league experience going forward, but still a transfer fee > 30 L for Vikram would be too much for Eb. My bet is still on Blasters or Hyd
I can't claim to be a big follower of @KeralaBlasters 's games last season, but why do I hear Moustapha Gning's name more in the transfer window now than during the season?
On a totally unrelated note, Gning's agent did give an interview to a Kerala based social channel recently.
East Bengal are now close to complete a move for Arrows midfielder Ricky Shabong. This one went pretty under the radar, with Sehnaj and Balwant and all the other pros coming in reportedly. Ricky is one neat midfielder, and experience in kolkata will toughen him up
East Bengal is back to old ways after 2 years of Quess. Doesn't mean that Quess did a good job, but atleast left recruitment to actual coaches.
To be fair, East bengal are getting these experienced players at a pretty decent rate.
Fc goa though 🤔. Losing Jahouh, Mandar, Sana singh, Jacki and one more key player (to be in the news soon)is tough. Replacements in Redeem, Chotte and Romario back from loan.
Aiban and Ali are the only Indian CBs. Expecting goa or atk to land a big Indian player soon
Arrows kids this time are not getting the same focus as last season. Akash Mishra and Vikram Pratap in focus, with the usual suspect Kerala blasters, being beaten here by Hyderabad. Contrasting reports on Vikram though recently.
Rohit Danu too will make the headlines soon
TRAU is the new scouting pad for the ISL clubs this time. Despite not finishing higher up in the I-league table, 4-5 players have already received ISL contracts. Unlike Lajong though, TRAU bags hardly any transfer fee here
Finally the lockdown has gotten the better of me, and we are back here.
Transfer news cannot start without ATK! Ashutosh Mehta reportedly a target, following fellow Bagan players joining ATK. Anas is out of contract there, expecting a new CB #ATK
The aspire academy model is interesting for Delhi Dynamos. First Gianni from the club they co-own in Spain, and now Diagne from their club in Belgium. Diagne looks exciting, but unsure about how he fits..was majorly a Right back, and Tebar is already there as DM.
Finally the national team playing with 3 in midfield. Won't be outnumbered in that area after ages.
Chettri, Brandon, Chhangte and Udanta are an electric front 4, might see Chhangte or Udanta as the ones to run past the defense, instead of Chettri. #IndianFootball#stimac
Zuiverloon leaving for Kbfc is a big blow for Delhi. He seemed the heart of the team last year, and more of a 'captain'. Haven't heard a lot from Delhi, especially with Rana's looming suspension and Chhangte apparently not extending contract. Foreign Gk might not be feasible too
Basics of making-up/reporting transfer rumors: Even with the most shaky sources, the transfer should atleast make the slightest sense.
David Villa to ISL it seems.
He currently makes 4 times what an ISL team's entire budget is for Indian and foreign players. And is contracted
@KachaK3la Wouldn't discount an Indian player (or coaching staff..they are missing that too). Among the foreigners, Tebar and Gianni are most likely staying..would be surprised if they announce any new foreign players this soon
A Spanish coach with an Irish midfielder and English CB in the team, and most of the Indians recruited before the coach comes in. Wonder why the likes of Lanza was a million times better at FC Goa
