Peyton Snoeberger delivers a dramatic chip-in eagle on the 18th hole to force a playoff at the 2026 Indianapolis Open. Michael Davan fired a remarkable 10-under round to tie the Broadmoor Country Club course record. Snoeberger then secured the title by winning the playoff over Davan on the first extra hole.

Indiana’s own Tim Wiseman heads into the final round at T12 and is firmly in the hunt for a spot on the Corebridge Financial Team of PGA Professionals for the PGA Championship. Just four shots back, Eric Steger sits at T54 and is well within striking distance on a course where momentum can change quickly.

The LPGA Chevron Championship tees off today, and Indiana native Erica Shepherd is in the field.
In 2025, Erica made eight cuts in 14 starts on the Epson Tour and recorded two top-10 finishes, including a win at the Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout. We are proud to support Erica as she competes this week.

The PGA of America and CBS Sports present “The Road to Bandon,” a new 30-minute special airing Sunday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
The show follows six PGA of America Golf Professionals as they prepare for the 2026 PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, April 26–29, competing for 20 Corebridge Financial Team spots in the 108th PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club.
One of the six is Indiana’s Eric Steger, PGA Teaching Professional at Pebble Brook Golf Club in Noblesville. Steger made his first PGA Championship start at Quail Hollow after a T-9 finish in the 2025 PPC and previously competed at Bandon Dunes in the 2011 U.S. Pub Links. He coaches alongside his father, PGA Professional Scott Steger, who played in the 1994 PGA Championship.

We are saddened to share the passing of Indiana Golf Hall of Fame member Marcia Luigs.
A lifelong leader and volunteer in the game, Marcia served on the USGA Women’s Committee and became Vice Chairwoman, while also chairing the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship Committee. She was a respected rules official at some of golf’s most prestigious events, including the U.S. Women’s Open, Curtis Cup, and NCAA Championships.
Her impact on the game, both in Indiana and nationally, will not be forgotten.
The Indiana Golf Foundation is proud to announce our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees: Brian Hammons and Chris Hague.
Known as the “voice of Indiana Golf,” Hammons spent more than two decades with The Golf Channel and continues to elevate the game in our state through storytelling, event coverage, and the Indiana Golf Magazine video series.
Hague served as superintendent at Broadmoor CC, TPC at Deere Run, Crooked Stick GC, and Hazeltine National GC, helping prepare multiple U.S. Opens and PGA TOUR venues at the highest standard.
