My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
Today, I proclaimed June as Nuclear Family Month in Indiana.
As a father of four and grandfather of seven, I have seen firsthand the impact that loving, committed families can have across multiple generations. As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, this proclamation recognizes the important role families play in shaping the future of our state and our country.
Indiana will continue supporting policies that strengthen families and help the next generation thrive.
🚨🇺🇸🇮🇱 Marjorie Taylor Greene was threatened until she quit. Thomas Massie was taken out with the most expensive House primary in history.
Now we know why.
Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski says Section 224 will get pulled before December, but without Massie in Congress, it gets slipped back in quietly, and nobody stops it.
The strategy: public aid to Israel is becoming toxic, so bury the money inside a joint U.S.-IDF innovation center.
"This is why they hijacked Turning Point; this is why they freaked out when Charlie Kirk said I'm not taking your money."

@megbasham why were you not done before now? Come on. You were already lamenting @realDonaldTrump term 1 and then you went mute. @RepMikeLawler is effectively modeling the @LogCabinGOP unity that you @conservmillen affirmed to get votes in the Trump pride coalition, Trump Unity @RonnaMcDaniel agenda continuing. @JustinPetersMin called it out with Turning Point and Robb Smith, Scott Presler.... Then there's your own publishing company .
@megbasham Melania has log cabin Republican fundraisers. Trump props up Pressler. The RNC removed Any of this from the platform making it acceptable. The Trumps support this. What do u mean?

@AttyAbdul@cdiegomorales The real convention is when they will elect me, @BeauBayh, to carry on my family legacy of beating women like Blythe Potter. Then I will represent the @INDems as their lone bright spot in the sea of @TheDestinyWells that is their other candidate slate.
@Indy_reporter_@indys_kcgal FACT: Henry County GOP is a den of vipers, as is the 6th district central committee. I had the mentality to get involved to try to make things better. Yet, it’s a fool’s errand. Hard pass.
One example: They invited a Dem to guest speak and the county chair openly agreed w/her.
People are going to tell Zoomers to join the Indiana Young Republicans.
I’m here to tell you that’s a TERRIBLE idea.
The leadership is packed with snakes, frauds, and elitists pretending to be grassroots conservatives.
And let’s not forget: one of them was literally helping door-knock for a Democrat State Rep. *cough* Ali *cough*
Hoosiers are already getting crushed by property taxes while school corporations are about to run out and push even more referendums hoping to pad administrative salaries and expand government bloat.
It’s vitally important to vote NO on these property tax hikes!
While you pray, Israel is scanning your church for mobile phones. When you leave, you can be tracked for 90 days, during which time you receive messages designed to demonize the victims of genocide and rehabilitate bloodthirsty, sociopathic war criminals. Can I get an Amen?
INDIANA
You need to watch the Secretary of State race if you want data center builders to be held accountable.
What does the Indiana Secretary of State race (Ballard, Bayh, Potter, Ritenhour, Shelton, and Morales) have to do with data centers?
In Indiana, the Secretary of State referees the buying and selling of stocks. If a company is suspected of lying to its investors (fraud), the Secretary of State is the one who refers that company for investigation. One candidate, Beau Bayh, solicited a donation from the head of a private equity company, Apollo Global Management, that had to pay "the largest fine in SEC history" for lying to its investors. This candidate's parent works for Apollo, too. Apollo is currently being sued for lying to its investors in yet another lawsuit. And Apollo recently invested in a major data center company. Apollo currently has an active “public-private-partnership” with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. WARNING ⛔️
Indiana is the epicenter of a data center building frenzy, and building booms tend to come with borrowing too much money and committing securities fraud. Many companies are borrowing money and over-promising their investors a good payday while investing in the data center rush. But others are warning that the data center building frenzy will wreck our financial markets if it busts. We need the Secretary of State to be someone who is willing to hold companies accountable for misleading their investors, especially when it comes to reckless data center investment.
You don't get to vote for Secretary of State in the May 5th primary, you have to vote for the DELEGATES who vote for Secretary of State at the Republican and Democrat State conventions this Summer.
