@I_m_michael_asr @BharadiaSamarth Sikh population is in natural decline in Delhi, deaths surpassed births 4 years ago while Ambarsar has a pretty good in-migration rate primarily from rest of Majha so it's expanding. it's Kinda impossible for Delhi to surpass Amritsar ever unless there's any black swan event.

@SadashivAnant1 well, this is kinda seems fictional. WPD is gaining momentum, they'll gonna sweep nearly all rural seats between Ajnala to Talwandi sabo.

AAP surged in popularity after 1000 rupees freebie. INC is distant third. BJP is focusing to win 25 seats so they have that self-ceiling.

@SadashivAnant1 No I'm not suggesting that but when representation concentrates in a limited geography then state funds tend to ignore large swaths of land mass. MLAs get same amount of money either they represent 50 sqKM or 500. one can do so much other will not be able to build a road in same.

@Urbanomics_IN number of adhar assigned isn't a very good matrix to estimate population. it doesn't take deaths in account, it's been nearly 15 years since its inception but they have deactivated barely 1 crore Adhar numbers. while 10+ crore people died since, even in conservative estimates.

@puneet_sahani @Royalsinghz3 I have never seen a state like punjab, it's too divided on too many lines. But openness and tolerance has a very strong geographical boundaries. for example You can just feel the difference between Sikhs from Tarn Taran and Ludhiana. one is very open, second is pretty hard line.

@Prakhar81420407 Nope it'll not, Women reservation will lock constituencies for a cycle of three elections (33% seats/round) so next election which will have new delimitation would be in 2044 (probably on 2041 census if not 2031) till then representation of Urban India will be frozen at 2011 base
