@uncle_kid_music @TrustTheDocUK @submit_hub @MusosoupHQ I actually think it's the opposite. Back in 2013/2014 it was impossible to get any blog to respond to you. They were so overwhelmed by email submissions that they just ignored them all. Now with SubmitHub (and similar) you get a 90%+ response rate WITHOUT hiring a publicist!

Blogging is a hobby for 99% of us. If you want us to sit down & listen to your submission (outside our normal discovery channels), I think it's fair to offer $1 or $2 💜
