Ashley from @IndigenousEdNC explains the significance of the REDress Project and how the red dresses signify the loss of thousands of Indigenous women, girls & 2SLGTBQQIA people over the past 40 years to colonial violence.
The annual REDress project raising awareness about missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGTBQQIA people is going virtual this year with a week of online events from February 8th to 12th, organized through a collaboration between Brock University and Niagara College
