A lot of people seemed more interested in tearing down The Acolyte and whining about it than giving it a chance. We could’ve gotten some really cool stories, lore, and character development. Still wish we’d gotten Season 2.✨ #RenewTheAcolyte
I'm not going to lie, a lot of you non-Black artists reject perfectly good advice on drawing Black people because you value your ego as an artist more than properly representing a group of people you don't belong to. You buy into stereotypes and mistake that for artistic freedom.
The creator of The Acolyte Leslye Headland has said that she still would want to do a Season 2 which would have explored Qimir, Plagueis, and toed towards the Sequels!
"As more people discover it, I think people may want to see some form of the story come back. We did have a lot of stuff that we wanted to explore- including tying in lore to the sequels. Getting into who exactly Manny [Jacintol's character is, his connection with Vernestra, his connection with Plagueis, and then his connection with other sequel-established things."

Working in education showed me 1st hand kids desire & flourish under structure once they become used to it. They don't like chaos, they like routines they can trust. That's safety to them.
@theplacehotelly They had many video cameras rolling. Yet they only showed a few seconds of his speech & did not show his PSA. This single newsclip survives only because it has been preserved by a fan. They just don’t want the public to hear his words, nor hear his message.https://t.co/qdiogP9ejp
