๐ Day 14 of 14 | Digital Rights Series
The campaign ends today. Your digital journey begins today.
Over the past 14 days, we've explored how to:
โ Spot misinformation
โ Verify information before sharing
โ Protect your digital rights
โ Safeguard your privacy
โ Respect others online
โ Build a safer and more informed digital community
But media literacy isn't something you learn in two weeksโit's a habit you build every day. That's why we've included a 12-month Digital Habits Workbook in the Media Information Literacy Toolkit. Print it, use it, and turn today's knowledge into everyday action.
Download the Media Information Literacy Toolkit today and start your digital habits journey.
Thank you for being part of this campaign. Keep asking questions. Keep thinking critically. Keep sharing responsibly.

This Media Information Literacy Toolkit, the Civic Media Portal, and the accompanying awareness campaign were developed with the financial support of the European Union under the project "Strengthening Media Persons' Capacity and Engagement for Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms," jointly implemented by Individualland and the Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI). The contents are the sole responsibility of the implementing partners and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.

There are two worlds we live in today. One is physical. The other is digital.
Whether we see this as progress or a challenge, the reality is that much of our attention, conversations, and decisions now happen in digital spaces. But this reality is not the same everywhere.

We are grateful @Gov_Balochistan and the Honourable Speaker of the #Balochistan Assembly for hosting the participants and generously sharing their perspectives. Thanks to Pakistan Television (PTV) and Press Club Quetta for providing participants with an insightful briefing.๐งต
Not every headline โ or photo โ tells the whole truth. ๐ฅ
A real example: a viral image claimed to show a wildfire in Pakistanโฆ but the visual was actually from somewhere else entirely.
This is how misinformation spreads: real emotions, wrong context.

How do you know a source is credible?
Look for three things:
โ๏ธ A verified platform
โ๏ธ A transparent author you can identify
โ๏ธ Unbiased, factual language
If it's missing all three โ pause before you trust it.

I have successfully completed 3-day Training of Community Leaders on Media Information Literacy & Digital Rights
Quetta | 10-12 June 2026
Organized by @individualland
Funded by the European Union
Thank you for empowering voices for human rights & digital freedoms
This was organized under the @EUPakistan-funded project, Strengthening Media Persons Capacity and Engagements for Fundamental Human Rights and Freedoms, jointly implemented by @cpdi_pakistan@individualland
A football match.
A movie.
A theatre performance.
At first glance, they may not look like media literacy activities.
But every one of them teaches something essential: teamwork, trust, communication, critical thinking, and the ability to question what we see and hear.
