Creative liberty is ment for everybody, just like human rights. Taking away any of those from someone is a crime in itself.

Same here. Every single bit of criticism is welcome at the moment when the big media is trying to downplay or ignore the situation. Example of this that really pisses me off is that the state media https://t.co/LZhjYymCMu that I pay taxes to fund is publishing propaganda that tries explisitly to tell that nothing changed. Also a finnish podcast episode that was well worded and critical of the new law was blocked in the eu by youtube at the probable reguest of a finnish official when the content that it had wasn't official and was protected by the finnish law.

Like Jeesus christ the propaganda attempts are pissing me off. And these are only a few of the examples you can find in the media.
YouTube has just taken down the political discussion clip about the EU's Chat Control, and the video is no longer viewable in the EU.
This has been confirmed by several parties. The video is still available outside the EU.
@puheenaihefi podcast is a Finnish current affairs program with 60k subscribers. In this episode, Peter Sund, CEO of the Finnish Information Security Cluster (Kyberala ry) offered pointed criticism of the EU's new Chat Control directive, which was enacted under questionable circumstances.
Because the media is in Finnish, it is highly likely the censorship request came from a Finnish government official or a related party.
This makes it troublesome.
Because the Finnish constitution §12 guarantees freedom of expression.
Preventing political publications is a criminal offence: Abuse of Official Position, punishable by a fine or imprisonment for up to two years.

@EPPGroup The propaganda bot running this account, just like the party itself is trying to switch up the topic from their chat control fuckup. Trying to show a slight win isn't going to make people forget what you dipshits did.
" The EPP Group has fought to make sure your rights don't stay on the ground when you take off - and that they move forward, not backwards. "
This is an pathetic attempt at trying to damage control, and to spread propaganda positive about yourself. You violate multiple constitutions and human rights with the 1.0 law and try to act like you are for the people. Posting ptopaganda positivr about yourself won't get the people re-elect any of you authoritarian dipshits.
On ollut käytössä jo hetken aikaa. Vanha serveri on myös toiminut jo kuukausia uutena exit nodena.

Huom.
To anyone even considering following me.
Although the messege I spread about chat control is very strongly worded, I still lean much more to the left, but if that doesn't matter to you, then you're welcome to see what I have to say about these authoritarian pieces of shits in a depressing time period like this.
Asiat risteytuvät siis aivan aiheellisesti, sillä on tärkeää pitää viimeinenkin laillinen yllä autoritarismin estämiseksi.
Eli siis yksinkertaisesti: vaikka eu laki on vahvempi kuin Kansallinen laki on sen silti hyvin vaikea kaataa perustuslakia, meillä on siis yhä kohtuullisen vahva argumentti estääksemme chat controllin ainakin suomessa.
Dear citizens of the EU
As you know by now, Chat Control 1.0 was passed undemocratically by these authoritarian clowns, even though the majority was against it, by invoking a controversial urgency procedure that required the opposition to reach a majority of 361 votes, which they unfortunately fell short of. In addition, all of this happened right before the parliamentary summer recess, which caused many empty seats to be counted in favour of the new law.

With the Chat Control 2.0 legislation, the EU is now facing an unprecedented attack on encryption and privacy. Corrupt politicians have been heavily lobbied by Thorn and the billionaires funding it, with the goal of banning secure encryption and collecting your data. More information:

All in all, the fact is that none of us can afford to let the 2.0 legislation pass. It doesn't matter whether you are on the right or the left of the political spectrum. This is a decision that affects all of us negatively if it passes. Chat Control 1.0 already violates every citizen's basic right to privacy.
So what can you do to help prevent this blatant attempt at mass surveillance?
1. Contact your MEPs and your national government representatives.
https://t.co/Gs62SxmS24
2. Support and coordinate legal action. There is a good chance that your country's laws conflict with the 1.0 legislation in a way that could at least slow down its implementation.
3. File complaints with your national data protection authority if a service is scanning your communications in a way you believe violates EU rules on communications secrecy or data protection.
4. Show that you care. Social media is a powerful tool for spreading awareness and expressing your concerns. The more people's voices are heard, the more likely it is that the 2.0 legislation will not be adopted.
5. If you have any knowledge, resources, or connections within your country's legal system, you could file a citizens' initiative. While it is unlikely to succeed if EU law ultimately overrides it, there is still a chance. Doing so would also bring more visibility to the concerns shared by many members of the public.
If these efforts fail and this continent falls further under authoritarian rule, we will find ways to make our data invisible, just as the few criminals this law is supposedly "really meant for" already do. There is already a great and simple guide by @LambentLucien on their profile explaining how to make yourself harder to track.

Let me correct this with the same jargain that you dipshits spill in ordet to justify mass surveillance.

Yes. I can use myself as an example. I was a giant piece of shit back in the day, and homofobia, transfobia, and just the general hatred of the lgbtqia+ community was a part of me that I couldn't get rid of since my core beliefs were very conservative and christian, since my family was and still is religious. At some point of my life i desiced to look up the reasons why I had to hate those people, since I was starting to question why did I even have to hate them. It's safe to say that after learning about the discrimination and other stuff that you've faced I did slowly start to roll back on my hatred, just out of general emphaty. Nowdays I've basically changed completely, I've even found a part in the community after being able to confront my own internalised homofobia that was partly the reason I felt so shitty about myself and coming out as bi. My belief in god still stayed though, but I'm not a part of the cathollic church anymore since its members have spread homofobia so widely. Currently I'm part of a moderately large scandinavian protestant church movement.
So yeah, I think that if I was able to do a complete switchup in my beliefs from right to left after just confronting the reality of things I believe that most people should be able to do that too. Maybe not in the exact same way or pace I did, but in their own way. Anyone is able to learn after all :P
EU friends, read closely and retweet aggressively.
Chat Control will mean scanning of private messages and a complete destruction of your privacy as a citizen.
You don't need to be a tech expert to protect yourself. Here's a setup and instructions that will that help a lot in retaining your privacy:
Step 1: Buy a phone from outside the EU.
This is absolutely non-negotiable and the foundation of your entire privacy stack. Buy a US or Japanese model Google Pixel phone if possible. It's easier to set up privately
Step2: Use Signal for messaging.
Step 3: Download all your apps from third party sources; Discord, Whatsapp, TikTok — all of it.
Stop downloading them from Google Play and Apple's App Store. This is called "sideloading". Most of the apps you use today can be downloaded as sideloadables, including Twitter/X itself.
Step 4: Get a VPN
Consider Mullvad or Proton VPN since they don't keep logs. This is a powerful way to hide your location even if the EU attempts to ban virtual private networks.
For Android:
Consider GrapheneOS. It's a free privacy-focused system. It removes a lot of tracking.
This combo makes it much harder for unwanted scanning or tracking. It's not perfect, but way better than default settings.
Look it up on GrapheneOS dot org or PrivacyGuides dot org.
Start small and tell your MEPs you want real privacy, not mass surveillance.
Our tireless fight against Brussels' hegemonic steamrolling of our sovereignty continues. Never stop.
Stay secret! Stay safe!

@nyaraVT If that's like some locally operated bullshit on self driving cars I can get behind that, but if this is really something they're going to get into effect a lot of people, including me will try their best to find ways to remove those systems.
