We have a “fake” version of capitalism though where the idea of competition is simply an idea. Everything is still monopolized and companies suing each other over “price agreements”.

Many if not all have done terrible things, the hope is to not continue but learn.

My country is having a complete breakdown of that thought process. Everyone is caught up in what is right and wrong, that no progress is being made, only fingers pointed.

Even if the numbers are a lie and are inflated, I doubt the actual number was less than 2 million. Biological warfare was used and how about the “ 3 Alls” policy that was implemented?

However I will say I can understand the point of the us being a victim due to those things, but our failure in Vietnam was fully due to our politicians. Japan might have been the beginning, but the us made sure it wouldn’t change.

@nasubin99 @HirotarouButani @HLC_actual Yeah I definitely don’t trust the numbers fully myself especially during ww2 there’s a lot of reasons for people to inflate or deflate the statistics. Why in your eyes as Japanese do you think your country excludes those teachings from the curriculum?
