I honestly don’t think Godzilla was telling Shimo to freeze Skar King here. In this moment as Kong had Skar King in his grip I really believe Godzilla was initially gonna end his life by beaming him, but Shimo saw what Godzilla was gonna do and decided to take it upon herself and be THE ONE to finish him off by freezing him. I think the editing here doesn’t exactly tell that and it made us think that Godzilla was roaring at Shimo to freeze him when in reality Godzilla was actually charging up to kill Skar King until Shimo interrupted him and used her ice beam on Skar King instead which would make more sense since after all that he as done to her in the past.
I will stand by this idea.
MLoM Season 2 thoughts so far:
* I liked how this season literally just jumped straight into it, Kong, Skull Island and Titan X all within episode 1!
* Absolutely loved how they didn't reveal Titan X's design right away, they showed bit and pieces until we saw it's face
* The cult aspect of Titan X was really interesting, in a way, it reminded me of how Godzilla was treated in Odo Island in Minus One before his mutation
* I'm convinced Verdugo isn't dead and that she was knocked into the Axis Mundi until proven otherwise
watch out everyone, apparently the user formerly known as cocogasm, who sent nsfw stuff to minors and more , has been caught skulking around twitter and possibly trying to rejoin rwbytwt, don't let them, keep an eye out as they are possibly using alt accounts
This is why i don't get when people complain that the Frontier design doesn't look like the movie
I mean do y'all really want a stretched out Brachiosaurus?
MonsterVerse is trying to establish a cinematic universe while Minus one is trying take on a serious tone why can’t we just enjoy both of them without comparing
* The creatures in this season, although few, were pretty cool
* I like how they are setting Apex as this rival group to Monarch, i always thought they went down too easy in GvK.
* I liked the Axis Mundi, it's wierd, in a good way. It's almost like the Backrooms of the MV
Closing thoughts of season 1:
* It took a bit to get the ball rolling, but once it did the plot got really good
* I liked Monarch's origin story, they actually made me care about Bill Randa, who frankly i had forgotten about before this show lol
(1/-)
