नोएडा में मजदूरों का वेतन बढ़ाने की मांग को लेकर हुआ प्रदर्शन हिंसक हो गया। प्रदर्शन के दौरान कई वाहनों में तोड़फोड़ की गई और पत्थरबाजी भी हुई, जिससे इलाके में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया।

नोएडा के औद्योगिक क्षेत्र के वर्कर पिछले दो दिनों से न्यूनतम वेतन को लेकर आंदोलन कर रहे थे। इसी क्रम में आज भी बड़ी संख्या में फैक्ट्री कर्मचारी वेतन वृद्धि की मांग को लेकर एकत्र हुए थे, लेकिन विवाद बढ़ने पर स्थिति बेकाबू हो गई।

पुलिस के अनुसार, हालात को काबू में लाने के लिए भारी संख्या में बल तैनात किया गया, जिसके बाद स्थिति पर नियंत्रण पा लिया गया।

दरअसल, हरियाणा में न्यूनतम मासिक वेतन को 14,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 19,000 रुपये कर दिया गया है। वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश में न्यूनतम वेतन करीब 13,000 रुपये के आसपास बना हुआ है, जिससे नोएडा के मजदूरों में असंतोष बढ़ रहा है।
