@kavin_Aero@IndianTechGuide Power = V*I. And power loss is I^2R. Hence if you use high Voltage (33kv) to transfer power at lower current, transmission loss can be reduced significantly. From the high tension lines to home there will many step down transforma bring voltage to 220v. Thats where the loss is
@IndiaToday People who have invested in industries making material are screwed. They will have to find new buyers at a lower price, and risk losing existing customers to competition. What message is it sending investors, why not set up plants in neighbouring AP where you have EODB?
@jamestoplevel1@IndiaToday Next step is stopping construction material movement between districts. Let Krishnagiri be selfish and not "export" stones to Chennai and Coimbatore.

@SustyYt@itswpceo Also will reduce dependency on the SWIFT system which are used to enforce financial Sanctions. Although I don't see US sanctioning India anymore let alone Japan. All friendly countries.
@madmanu@homerepaired There are many reasons you will not payoff a mortgage even if you have the cash. What he describes is a rising interest rate scenario, and you have a low interest rate locked mortgage loan. Current long term US bonds are at 6% some old loans are at 3%.
Dear @RBI: Do not let the psychology of Rs 100 per dollar determine your policy response. 100 is just a number, like 99 and 101. Whether the oil shortage is short-lived or long-lived, the right response at this moment is to let the rupee depreciate. 1/6
The impeachment motion moved by the DMK and Congress against Justice Swaminathan is an outright assault on the judiciary. It is a desperate attempt by the India Alliance to browbeat a judge simply because he upheld a perfectly reasonable and constitutional order permitting the Kartigai Deepam.
This reckless weaponisation of impeachment to intimidate the judiciary must be condemned in the strongest terms.
The Congress has a long and dark history of attacking independent judges. During the Emergency, they superseded judges, threatened courts, and shook the very foundations of Indiaโs justice delivery system. What they are doing today is cut from the same unconstitutional cloth.
This impeachment motion deserves to be thrown out immediately.
And the anti Hindu, anti constitutional mindset driving the Congress-DMK combine must be exposed for what it is - an assault on faith, on freedom, and on the integrity of our institutions.
The DMK Govtโs hostility toward Sanatan Dharma is no longer a matter of interpretation; it is a fact. The Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment Department (which is supposed to serve Hindu devotees) appealed against a court order blocking the lighting of the sacred Karthigai Deepam atop Thiruparankundram Hill. This act strikes at the very heart of our people's faith.
And today, by deploying hundreds of police personnel and physically preventing devotees from performing the religious ritual, the DMK regime has exposed the full extent of its appeasement politics.
DMK must answer why Sanatan Dharma is singled out, time and again. Do court orders mean nothing to this govt?
1. Trust the Pakistanis to make a pigsty even out of the @OxfordUnion. And as always, they are genetically incapable of being truthful. So here's the complete story of how this so-called debate played out.
@DunlavinGreen@thoughtsnanaly1@GlobeEyeNews Europeans had a home to go back to. Call it Colonialism all you want, but they will not give up their only home, because there is nowhere to go. What worked in Algeria will not work for Israel.
@FrontalForce He does not belong to any traditional mutt, not a Shankaracharya, Jeeyar or even a Sanyasi. I know many traditional Hindus who will have nothing to do with Sadguru. Playing film music in his Shivratri gathering was the last straw. Well connected politically, but a guru?
@venkat_200910@arvindgunasekar I think the question is "Is there any time frame for decisions prescribed in the law" if it is -SC can ensure it is followed. If not, SC does not have power to create law, which is parliament's prerogative.
@kldkld17404545 @VerminusM Propaganda coming from the Leftist Indology departments doesn't matter anymore. Beat your drums, does not change reality on the ground.
@ShuklaPras61139@will_seaborn@barabati000 What a load of crap. Go read the story of Thiru-Paan- Alzwar's entry into Srirangam. Narayanan does not discriminate, people who have not bothered to understand Sanatana dharma do.
