Happy Independence Day! Been recording some exciting unboxings these past few days. I'll be starting Life is Strange: Double Exposure soon too. Heard very conflicting things about this one but curious to find out for myself.
I'm in the midst of recording some exciting unboxings today and will be working on some of my more regularly content throughout this month. I hope to make a return in August and have some more videos scheduled to take place into the later part of the year.
I also want to add the pawn system remains quite ingenious. @RealityPales thanks for Daenerys! I used her for the vast-majority of my playthrough and should you return to this game she will be spec'd out in top level gear!
Last night I completed Dragon's Dogma 2. Apart from gorgeous visuals & epic music, I loved how every monster encounter felt dynamic with a world that was physically reactive. Fun stuff! My only gripes were the bland storytelling and confusing quest tracking.
I woke up to this a bit ago and still can't believe it. Was fully expecting the PS6 to be digital first with a detachable disc drive. But to do this now, with how expensive many games still remain on these storefronts. What a sad self-destructive generation this has been.

In the end-game for Dragon's Dogma 2! Gonna likely finish it in the next day or two, but I have found the fun in this one and am looking forward to seeing it through.
A few days ago I started Dragon's Dogma 2. Never played the original so was unsure what to expect. It's interesting to say the least but I'll share a video with some impressions later. I'm still learning to get into the game.
I did not enjoy my time with it, but I persevered and forced my way through to completion. Apparently, it was designed to be the first piece in this massive IP and franchise spanning books and streaming, but the game sold so poorly everything was canceled. Very bizarre.
It has certainly been some time since I last posted here, apologies. I've spent these past 2 weeks at a game studio testing an unannounced AAA game from an acclaimed developer. I can't say anything at all! But it's been quite an exciting experience!
There's some interesting abilities, stealth gameplay & it takes place in a very different local from other games. It's not all bad, but where it fails it does so strongly, it overtakes anything good. The framerate is only 30fps but is has poor frame pacing even on PS5 Pro.
Finished up A Quiet Place: TRA. It's a fairly standard emulation of the modern horror-game experience. Clearly inspired by Alien Isolation but without the talent/budget of that dev team. Gets a bit tedious towards the end but it's quite short. Found it pretty forgettable tbh.
Wanted to share that the next game I'm starting up is A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. Enjoyed the films, although I haven't seen Day One yet. Could be a cool concept for a game, hope it turns out to be fun, creepy and interesting!
