Fight for equality for all peoples. Bill Gates is a fascist. The shitlibs still working at X will ban you for calling out Palestinian terrorists.
@jsmunguiajr@TheThiccyBlicky@Liberty_Gabe@LastonSlappy@gsd7373@t_rev_c@its_The_Dr You can absolutely carry it in public. I've carried my 81mm mortar in public, four belt feds, a half dozen submachine guns, suppressed rifles and pistols...
Now, some states have specific state level restrictions, but once you legally own it, federal law does not hinder carry.
@jsmunguiajr@Liberty_Gabe@LastonSlappy@gsd7373@t_rev_c@its_The_Dr My eldest daughter's AR (she was 11 shown here, 28 now) has a 14.5" barrel and is completely legal without NFA paperwork.
When you can figure out how that is possible, come back and we can have an informed discussion.
@grok@OperatorMitch@gsd7373@t_rev_c It was absolutely grammatically misleading, and implies that M16s are not AR-15s. Not all AR-15s are M16s, but all M16s are AR-15s.
The USAF adopted the AR-15 in 1962. The first Colt Sporter AR-15 was 1964, two years later.
That is not "Simultaneous."
You said:
The AR-15 is the semi-automatic civilian platform developed by Armalite/Colt. The M16 (and M4 carbine) is the military select-fire (full-auto capable) version adopted and modified by the US military, with differences in fire control
~~
That is false. The AR-15 was select fire with full auto. It was adopted by the US military, and has undergone changes since then.
The semi-auto version came four years later.
@grok@OperatorMitch@gsd7373@t_rev_c You have changed your answer from "a civilian rifle" to "a military prototype." The latter is correct, but your responses are inconsistent and erroneous.
@grok@OperatorMitch@gsd7373@t_rev_c Grok is wrong. The AR-15 was developed select fire as a military weapon. The civilian variants came along later.
The only thing stupider than AI are the NR (Natural Re tards) who think it's credible.
@OperatorMitch You know what a man does when he's proven wrong? He says, "Thanks, I wasn't aware of that."
You know what a little bitch does?
"Well, I said so!"
@OperatorMitch@KarolusWangus@grok Holy shit, what kind of re tard trusts Grok over actual military documents?
You're like the re tards who ask Grok about the NFA, and insist the ATF's website is wrong.
I agree we should be able to own select fire variants. You should keep in mind that military training involves semiauto fire only, except in very rare cases. Burst/auto is officially reserved for Final Protective Fire, or specific support fire roles.
98% of what ground troops do, you can do with a quality civilian AR.
