To point out the genesis and scale of the problem…One of the best examples of hypocrisy in favor of gerrymandering is Trump pushing Texas to redraw district lines solely for the purpose of increasing republican wins…in a push to keep majority control over Congress. Had Gov. Abbott not bowed to Trump’s demand to gerrymander Texas California and other blue states would not be taking the same action to counter.

Root cause here is your dear leader’s naked political move. This is what politicians do when their polling is in the gutter.

Let’s hope ICE agents families aren’t harmed in any way due to their father/husband’s disregard for the rights of citizens to due process and due to the unnecessary cruelty the agent dishes out…most of which is not only unnecessarily cruel but also illegal. When that agent violates the law against fellow citizens with impunity, that agent helps put his family in harms way. Dropping the mask and wearing their name on a uniform would actually make their job safer…and a helluva lot easier.

These untrained so called agents need to act stern but professional toward the public. This behavior will help protect themselves, the citizens they encounter AND help to protect their own family.

What we have now is what happens when new agent training is shortened from 6 months to 6 weeks. Another contributor to the problem is that border patrol agents are NOT trained in urban warfare.

The current government driven policies and/or practices are inviting a mob-like atmosphere. (If POTUS wants mobs in the streets to justifying some plan to consolidate power, he is getting what he wants. If the masses of Americans have only half the courage of our ancestors from the late 1700s, such a plan will likely blow up in his face…possibly literally).

The root cause of the death & chaos we are witnessing is the incompetence at the highest level of our govt, including people like Stephen Miller and to a degree, the president. The buck stops at the oval.

If POTUS is smart, he will recalibrate, re-write related policy and fire those that called VA nurse Alex Pretti a “terrorist” (Stephen Miller) and that Pretti came there to “mass kill law enforcement officers”, (Cabinet Secretary Kristi Noem, Head of the Department of Homeland Security)”. All this before an investigation to gather the facts had started.

Your last three sentences are spot on. It’s the first one that needs some work. Corruption is what allows an environment where compliance is prioritized over initiative and blind obedience is demanded by all.

Corruption can never become the norm when everyone is not only allowed to think for themselves, but are expected to do so.

Real leaders don’t want groupthink.

We all are apt to claim someone is a murderer when what we really mean is we “believe” someone murdered another. If you just want to stir things up then what about your dear leader’s claim that the Central Park 5 boys were guilty AFTER they were formally exonerated. Trump even took out a full page ad in the New York Times to push his false claim. There’s many more examples but I don’t generally get into stupid whataboutisms as the focus should be on bridging the divide that Trump has poured gasoline on for years. Both left and right have more in common than they realize…to work with to bring Americans together. BUT, sadly things won’t change as long as folks remain partisans such that they blindly follow politicians…and allow Trump, one of the best politicians I’ve seen at lying to con his followers. I pray that more people will go back to thinking for themselves…with the independence God gave them. In the meantime Trump and his minions will continue manipulating and dividing people.

Trump does deserve credit for a few things, one being his skill at manipulating masses of people, guiding people to do things Jesus would never do and bastardizing our beloved Christianity.

In defense of Trump, all the chaos, corruption and cruelty he drives is not his fault. His enablers, those that vote and still support him are just as responsible, especially when they support the worst of the worst deeds. When the tide turns these folks should hope they aren’t treated like Hitler’s enablers were after WWII ended.

I pray that America will become the UNITED States again. I pray for ALL Americans, including you and all of MAGA.
