Time after time, Tom Emmer proves party loyalty is his number one priority, with allegiance to special interest donors a close second.

Kelly Doss is running against Emmer as a Forward Independence candidate. Democrats haven’t been competitive in this district for 12 straight elections, but an independent candidate can build a coalition that reaches voters tired of the same two-party system.

Dave was our 2nd highest statewide vote getter in his 2002 State Auditor race - only behind Congressman Tim Penny's 16.5%. RIP old friend!!

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of longtime party member Dave Hutcheson.

Dave served our country with distinction in the U.S. Army, first as an enlisted infantryman from 1955 to 1958, and later as an officer from 1960 to 1978. He was in Berlin when the Berlin Wall was built, spent six years stationed in Germany, and served three years in Vietnam, commanding infantry companies in both places. His honors include the Combat Infantry Badge, Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, and the Air Medal. He retired in 1978 as a lieutenant colonel.

Beyond his military service, Dave was a past candidate and a longtime leader in our community. He carried himself with the kind of integrity, steadiness, and decency we need more of in public life.

We are grateful for his service and his example, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

In the video, you can clearly see an agent grab Alex’s legal firearm out of his holster.

That is the only time the gun is removed. And Alex never touched it.

They then yelled, “he has a gun!” and shot him, while he was completely unarmed.

Alex never drew his firearm.
Alex never threatened anyone.
Alex never even tried to reach for it as he was being violent assaulted.

He was not a threat, he was unarmed, and they shot him…

And they kept firing into his motionless, unarmed body.

They executed a U.S. citizen for legally carrying a firearm.

Police are tired. ICE agents are tired. And most importantly, Minnesotans are exhausted.

That’s a recipe for disaster.

As the year comes to a close, we’re grateful for everyone who believes our politics can be better, more honest, and more responsible.
