@KenWo4LiFe There is no such thing as a prospect. There are guys who have shown that they can do it at the major league level and guys who haven’t. Give me the ones who have shown it.
@KenWo4LiFe@barstoolWSD The time for the Baseball Writers Association to vote on Rose is long past. It will have to be the Veterans Committee that votes him in and I don’t see it happening. No one has been harder on Rose than former players.
@KenWo4LiFe I’ve always thought that people do not understand how good he was. For like a decade every time he got on base (and he got on base a lot), it was an automatic double and he could hit with power as well.
@KenWo4LiFe@ChiSoxFanMike Yeah, If you are going to list a stiff like Collins then you might as well add Fulmer and Burdi because there was never any chance that any of them were going to be worth a shit.
@RossRead I don’t know. He started off 2022 on absolute fire. He got hurt, missed a big chunk of the season and has basically been ass ever since he came back. It seems likely that it was that injury that wrecked him.
@ChiSoxFanMike I think pitchers adjusted to Baez, and he was never able to readjust his approach. I think Anderson got injured, lost his legs and with it his power, and the rest is history. neither is an uncommon event.
@KenWo4LiFe@ChiSoxFanMike This list is correct. If Jimenez, Moncada and Kopech had become the stars they were supposed to be, no one would give a fuck about Jerry.
@kbans_7 @ChiSoxFanMike It’s a good thing they used the 3rd overall pick on a 5’9” right handed extremely unathletic guy who can only play one position.
