Introverts math:
- staring at a wall > people
- text > calls
- trekking date > mall date
- work from home > office
- house in the woods > city apartment
- long walks > crowded gyms
- one loyal partner > flings
- handwritten letters > expensive gifts
- shared silence > talking
What so many need right now is a safe place to fall apart. Not in a tragic way, but like an extended exhale. No advice. No interruptions to their thought process. No list of what’s next to heal. A place where they know they are safely held & that by resting, they will soon rise.
Introverts don't need people. Sure, they enjoy the company of a few. But they never force people to choose them. It's just not their nature. They're fiercely independent. They will love you, care for you, make you feel like a million dollars, but they will never chase you.
‘Daffodowndilly’
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour
“Winter is dead.”

“It’s hard to be brave,” said Piglet, “when you’re only a Very Small Animal.”
Rabbit said: “It is because you are a very small animal that you will be Useful in the adventure before us.”
Piglet was so excited at the idea of being Useful that he forgot to be frightened. ~A.A.Milne
You don't have to wake up at 4 am to be productive. Everybody's built different. Some work best in the mornings, some in the evenings. Forcing it will only create more resistance. It's about doing the work, not following the rules. Keep it low stress. And keep it simple.
