Can I just say something...
Pseudo Solomon... summoning Lord Logres... a figure from a pseudohistorical account of King Arthur's ideal realm, Historia Regum Britanniae by Geoffrey of Monmouth.
A fake summoning a fake... 😭
Nasu explains Lord Logres ascensions:
Asc 1: King Arthur of Logres. Wise ruler with nothing to feel guilty about. Conducts as King
Asc 2: What if Artoria could play role of Queen & experience some freedom.
Asc 3: Saber from Fate/stay night after attaining great success. #FGO
The voice lines for Lord Logres, along with Solomon, Draco, and King Hassan, were batch-recorded approximately ten years ago, around the time of the game's launch. Take and Nasu explained that early budget constraints and a packed development schedule led them to anticipate future needs and record multiple characters in single sessions.
Lord Logres was originally named Artoria Avalon, initially intended for free distribution during the final battle. However, after reusing the name for Artoria Caster in Lostbelt 6, Nasu spent a long time determining how to repurpose the original concept, eventually adopting the previously unused Kingdom of Logres name to create Lord Logres.
Regarding the role of Azrael, casting Kanemoto Ryosuke—the voice actor for Tohno Shiki—was decided from the very beginning. King Hassan's Class Skill "At the Boundary" is the very same "boundary" perceived by Shiki, as both characters fundamentally occupy the exact same position. Because of this intrinsic link, Nasu always intended for Kanemoto to voice "King Hassan Lily" if the character were ever released.
