While world powers hide behind diplomatic double-talk and refuse to name reality, the Maldives spoke truth directly to power at the UN General Assembly.
Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef didn't hesitate:
"Condemnation alone is not enough. Every Member State must ask: What have we done to end this violence?"
No state should be shielded by power or alliances. A nation of 500,000 showed more moral courage than global superpowers.
Be like the Maldives. Demand accountability. End the genocide.

The claim that the pilot who allegedly tried to crash the Israeli plane was Omani makes me wonder: is Oman now next to be targeted or manipulated by Israel and its allies because of its position in the US–Iran war?
After everything we’ve witnessed over the past three years, I’ve learned that conspiracy theories can sometimes take reality further than rational thinking ever could.
Additional details about the drama that occurred on board a Flydubai plane:
One of the pilots stabbed the other pilot. A fight broke out. The pilot who was stabbed attempted to take control of the plane, possibly with the intention of crashing it into the ground. A battle erupted inside the plane, and during that time, the aircraft descended 4,000 meters.
Israeli passengers managed to subdue him. There was another flight crew that assisted in controlling the situation.
Israeli source: A very major disaster was narrowly avoided.
The Israeli Prime Minister held meetings, and the Chief of General Staff held a meeting with the head of the General Security Service and the head of the Intelligence Agency, and Israel is taking all possible measures at the present time.

A bus driver operating on the route to Al-Zaytoona University in Salfit confronted a vehicle reportedly belonging to Israeli settlers after it repeatedly struck his bus.
According to video circulating from the scene, the driver responded by driving into the vehicle, pushing it toward the side of the road and clearing the way before continuing his journey.
Israeli Occupation Forces Raid Birzeit University Amid Ongoing Attacks on Education in Palestine
RAMALLAH, Palestine -Israeli forces raided Birzeit University, in the occupied West Bank, in the latest incident affecting Palestinian educational institutions.
The raid comes amid continued disruptions and attacks affecting education across the occupied Palestinian territory, raising concerns over the safety of students, academics and educational facilities.
The incident at Birzeit University adds to a broader pattern of interference with Palestinian education, as universities and schools have faced raids, closures, damage and restrictions that have disrupted students’ access to education.
As a Palestinian, you live in a constant state of survival. You are always prepared to lose anything, or everything, at any moment.
Happiness often brings more anxiety than sadness. Because when you are granted blessings from God, whether a person, material things, or even a brief period of peace, you cherish them deeply, almost as sacred gifts. But if your blessings were taken away, your ingrained survival instinct responds as though they never existed in your life.
This allows you to move on with striking speed, because life has never been easy, and you are forced to endure and accept the full weight of a tragic existence on this land. As a result, anything becomes bearable; everything is, in some way, acceptable.

My statement regarding the misleading public allegations launched against me by the Campaign Against Antisemitism (in the UK), in which I have been explicitly (and wrongly) associated with “extremism.”
A Palestinian child trembled in fear as Israeli military vehicles passed through Zawiya village, near Salfit in the northern West Bank, during a raid. The child was returning home from school when the vehicles moved through the area. With nowhere else to go, he sought shelter behind an electricity pole as the vehicles passed by.
The image carries more meaning for me than what can be seen in the frame. It takes me back to when I was in first grade. I remember Israeli military vehicles entering the street near our schools, while soldiers imposed a curfew and ordered students to leave the area.
I can still remember the fear I felt that day. I was just a child, standing there as the vehicles passed close to me, their loudspeakers echoing through the street. I remember looking for somewhere, anywhere, to hide.
It is strange how some moments stay with you no matter how much time passes. I don't remember everything about that day, but I remember the feeling: the fear, the noise, and the sense of being so small in front of those vehicles. I have carried that feeling with me ever since.
Ramallah | West Bank 🚨
Israeli settlers flee Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, after local residents confronted them as Israeli occupation forces simultaneously raided the village.
Jerusalem 🚨
An Israeli soldier in Jerusalem provoke a Palestinian man while pointing his machine gun at him, seemingly creating a situation that could later be portrayed as “self-defense.” Fortunately, another Palestinian man intervened, urging him to walk away from the soldiers before the situation turned into a catastrophe.
This is the daily reality of humiliation and intimidation faced by thousands of Palestinians in Jerusalem at the hands of both Israeli soldiers and settlers.
Jenin | West Bank 🚨
Israeli occupation forces chased and verbally harassed a Palestinian young woman as she was walking home during their raid on the city of Jenin.
Cowards
Nablus | West Bank 🚨
A stabbing attack at a settlement outpost near the town of Asira in the Nablus Governorate left an Israeli settler seriously injured, according to Israeli reports.
The alleged perpetrator reportedly fled the scene, prompting the Israeli occupation army to impose a security siege around villages east of Nablus as it launched a search operation.
Following the attack, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a statement that Israel would launch an “all-out war” against the Palestinian Authority if it is confirmed that the PA is preparing for an attack similar to the October 7 attack.
Ramallah | West Bank 🚨
Israeli settlers assault journalists in Ramallah as they cover violations committed against Palestinian civilians by settler militias.
The Israeli settlers’ campaign against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank continues.
My dear friend @saja_alami visited Hajjah Kawthar from Sinjil, near Ramallah, and offers a deeper look in this report at what life is like for Palestinians living under the control and violence of Israeli settlers and the occupation.
The israeli settlers’ war on Sinjel town, north of Ramallah: attacks that go beyond intimidat!on.
