The Dueling Dinosaurs are a pair of exceptionally preserved dinosaurs - a Triceratops and, as we now know, a Nanotyrannus. The Nano is spectacularly complete - 100% complete. Every bone of its body is present - and those bones brought new data to an old debate.
For #fossilfriday I’d like to share some photos from my first round of Devonian fieldwork in Colorado in 2025. I had great company including friends from DMNS as well as the incredible @Yara_Haridy and Emily Hillan from the Shubin Lab. Really excited for round 2 in August!
Happy #FossilFriday !
I had an AWESOME time this week, CT scanning and printing my tiny #Campanian therians at @MarineBiol_FHL’s Lab 8!
Thanks @Fishguy_FHL for showing me the ropes and having me up there!
