@Ch_ManzoorAhmed@BBhuttoZardari@BakhtawarBZ@AseefaBZ If PPP were real champions of PIA, it wouldn’t be in this mess today.
It was your party’s tenure that stuffed PIA with political appointments, handed out free tickets, and burdened it with losses.
Now you have the audacity to give lectures?
Cost of failure to end circular debt!
The government is set to exempt state-owned energy companies from adopting international financial reporting standards (IFRS) whose implementation without settling circular debt will result in potential Rs500 billion credit losses and erosion of equity and market capitalisation of these firms.

Another excellent video by @TamkenatM - children have rights and need protection! No words indeed when you read idiotic comments on anti-child marriage laws.
The Government did not have much space to reduce petroleum prices after it last week cut the prices more than the reduction in the international market. The petrol price was reduced by Rs14 and diesel by Rs7 per litre more than global prices. It used Rs3.9 billion from a special fund for one week to sustain a deeper cut.
For this week, there was almost no increase in levy on petrol that remained below Rs67 per litre. On Diesel, levy was increased by Rs6.6 but it remains within maximum limit of Rs80 per litre. The Government’s stance is correct here.
@NaureenJanjua I agree. Sometimes, instead of staying on topic, personal views creep into sermons. Clerics should keep their khutbahs focused on the subj & occasion. E.g, mosque in my area, Rwp, Imam advised that Zakat should not be given to the state as it’s not an Islamic govt.
