On World Book Day, we all brought in our favourite book and (if we wanted to) dressed up as a character from that book.  In our whole school assembly,we had a parade and each class danced around the hall. It looked amazing!Accent Caterers dressed up too and decorated the hall.

On Wednesday, we opened up our Coombe Hill Infant School Book Shop, where the children used their £1 vouchers to buy a book.  They were so excited to be able to choose a new book and 📷take it home with them - we hope they are sharing these books with you at home.@WorldBookDayUK

On Tuesday, the poet Neal Zetter came to school.  He performed his poems in assembly, read poems in Reception, was interviewed by the Year 1 children and wrote poetry with Year 2. @sparkbookaward

The children have enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating the King’s Coronation tomorrow. We have had street parties, cream teas and Coronation arts and crafts. We finished a memorable day by singing the National Anthem together in a special assembly
